The Role:
The Payment Specialist will play a key role in defining and implementing projects that drive efficiency, maximize output of Account Servicing agents, and ultimately improve the customer experience. This individual will collaborate with Upgrade’s Loan Servicing, Collections, and Product teams to understand and define business needs; they will also develop and maintain a complex set of queues and workflows that span the loan servicing lifecycle. This individual will be expected to use data and analysis to build detailed project requirements, and they will manage those projects from beginning to completion.
What You'll Do:
- Execute payment and system process with a high degree of accuracy
- Assist the business with account adjustments, corrections, and other payment-related tasks
- Accountable for payment processing and any investigation around the process
- Develop and maintain business reporting and dashboards
- Assist with SOC1 reporting and controls for the business Identify system and processing issues while working closely with Product correct them
- Support new product rollouts and new operational initiatives, including contributing to the development of their defined processes and procedures
