Favorite job so far
Sheetz was a great place to work. I was able to advance easily. If you’re looking to move up into a company for retail I recommend sheetz. Can be fast paced and monotonous at times but if you have good coworkers (I did for the most part) it’s not so bad. Management was good too.

Productive and fun work place.
Sheetz pays very well, and you also receive bonuses every 3 months. I've learned great management skills, and it's fairly easy. It takes patience and hard work but that's what you get paid so good for. The best part of this job is the people! The customers are great and there are regulars that come in everyday and call my by my name, it gets no better than that!
Prospaid breaks, healthcare, bonuses

great benefits
All in all the company was a great place to work for. It has great benefits and a quarterly bonus. pay is above average. like most places its all about the environment your manager and staff set for you. sometimes it could be a little lack luster. when the store is understaffed the strongest employees can get worn out and tough to cover a shift when someone calls off. schedule can be a little wonky for management sometimes because although its a set schedule you could be working dayturn and nighturn in the same week. training is a bit of a headache. i think some people might need more time to learn things before being thrown into it. I would say that one thing that new hires usually don't realize is that the company is mainly about food. its definitely more then just making sandwiches. I spent 8 years there and I learned a whole lot. I learned great management skills and its great that the company usually hires within so you can move up in your job. They promote incentive to stay with the company.
Pros50% off when working, great health benefits, great pay
Conssometimes bad turnover, could work 10 days in a row, some can't handle all the work

Happy customers were our business.
I loved my experience and everyone I worked with. I always felt welcomed and free to ask questions if I needed to. The store I was first hired in had been through a lot of store managers. Learning each manager and how each one wanted things to be was challenging but the team stayed strong.

Youre a number. Not a person.
If you work hard, try your best, be positive, make rate, you wont advance. Years of above expectation work and used ideas, not one single thank you. Eventually I got hurt on the job and was denied workers comp and the payment of my medical bills. That was when I found myself another employer. Some family company.

fast pace enviroment and customer focused
Although I love the company. The team I worked with seemed to keep piling tasks on top of me while no other employee were doing anything. I Love sheetz and would recomend them to anyone. I understand that I had a lot of experience and was capable of handling the tasks handed to me however I did not like that while I worked really hard those who were suppose to be working with me just hung out and had a great time goofing off, work should be fun but it should also be productive and if it's suppose to be done as a team then the rest of the team should be helping.
