Go Elsewhere! BEWARE.
Expect 7 days a week all year. If not 7 days, then you'll be on 3 or 4 days, short time. There is no balance. Management is clueless of what is going on, and HR is even worse. I worked in multiple departments and at all 3 plants over my 18 year career. The last 8 year's this business has gone down hill quickly. 95% of all employees hate their job, and no one is actually happy. Drug dealer's paradise. If you want a family and happy life, beware. I've seen divorces happen, just from the rigorous work schedule. Me personally, they tried to put me on 2nd shift after 18 years with the company, the last 10 being on 1st shift, so I had to leave. No respect, no morals. Their "guidelines" will promise you the world, but they'll do the opposite......as the workers say, "if it makes sense, Schaeffler will do the opposite."
ProsDecent pay, but can be found elsewhere.
ConsManagement is clueless, 7 days a week, no respect, if you're not on salary don't expect to matter.

Good work life balance
Very repeatedly work content. Not too demanding job duties. Below average pay and vacation days. Training is not adequate but you can handle it by self-learning and cross-learning within your group.

Had a great experience learning and operating the industrial CNC bearing grinder machines.

We were well taken care of.
As a worker for INA Bearing, The Company offered us all kinds of stuff like Christmas Parties, Christmas parties for the children, Easter Egg Hunts for the children and there families. We drew names to go to all kinds of Basket Ball games, Hocky games, Knights games. We had employee of the quarter. We had lunches brought in to us for special occasions such as Thanksgiving. INA was a good place to work for. Please consider me for hire!!!!!

I hated this job.
I am not an assembly line kind of person. I have had extensive training in maintenance and they would not hire me for a position in maintenance. The pay is horrible and the management are idiots. Not the safest place to work either.

old tv that don't work
working 7 days a week only have 10 vacation days for the whole year but you will have to take them all be for the end of the year because its no vacation in the month of December

Days at Schaeffler
I really enjoyed my time there. I really miss the ppl. Built a lot of working relationships with managers, engineers, and production workers. Only two things I wish would have changed while I was there was the job advancement and compensation. Had those two things changed I still would be an employee there.

Good place to work
Working here was a great deal, you had people that didn't mind helping, but for some reason or another you would find yourself learning on your own. The feeling of belonging was something that the employees would often show.

Foi uma excelente experiência trabalhar numa empresa de qualidade.
Diariamente tínhamos novos desafios. Novas ideias e tecnologias eram bem vindas. Havia sempre que desse suporte em caso de duvida.
A estrutura esta muito bem encaminhada. Pode ser uma grande experiência e uma escola de novas ferramentas.

Good progress that i have seen in my knowledge gaining experiment
It's more competition to hold on you at your place. Kaizen, pokeyoke, PDCA, SFM, LEAN management, problem solving practice's are much motivated. It's a long race, you would settle down if once you deeply involved in company growth.
