Good work atmosphere.
Good Work atmosphere and challenging work environment. Interesting research and development work. Good salaries and flexible schedule if needed.
ProsDupont Schedule with 7 straight days off a month.
ConsOil industry is unstable and unpredictable.

Good place to work the on call for maintenance is hard not enough people for rotation.
I have been with them for over five years had to work 2.5 years as a temp which made me loose a lot of benefits, but once they hired me I did get all my benefits. I don't see any advancement with the pay to go with the responsibility.
ProsThey do have a company funded Pension and a 401K retirement plan.
ConsBeing on call every other weekend, with no compensation only if you get called in if not you loose your weekend.

Good Place to work
I have enjoyed working here. I have learned a lot working with the people I have. I would say the hardest part is not enough hours in the day to get done with what I needed to daily.

Sasol is a well established and productive company with opportunities to grow and develop it's employees and the surrounding communities, the wages are reasonable. Sasol gives people opportunities to Develop and grow career wise, the Learnerships and Upskilled programs are very beneficial to the surrounding communities as well. I personally had a great experience at Sasol and developed good work ethics which I still put in practice at my current employment

Great company spirit and team work
Supportive management and colleagues made working for Sasol an exciting and fulfilling learning experience. Systems are continuously updated and improved keeping you up to date on the latest technology. Most part of the day consisted of assisting fellow employees and managing the smooth running of the building. The most enjoyable part of the day was working with my colleagues.

Achieving the stretched goals set
Great challenges in the IT world. This was well managed with proper controls. Workers knew what were priority and all worked towards the goal in support. Aligning all people towards a company vision was not always easy, and called for good alignment. Celebrating success was the cherry on top.
