Very poorly run! Bunch of hot heads in management
Very poor company to work for. My immediate supervisor was a complete hot head who had no concept of how to supervise people or treat them with respect

Productive and great place to work
A typical day of work includes of constant order fill by demands of customer and company. Very cultured and team driven. Always gives opportunity to grow.

Sandvik is a good company to work for. They have great benefits and educational opportunities. My co-workers were great and most of them work as a team to help meet company goals. A Typical day for me was compiling a report by 9 0'clock for manager's meeting. Then for the rest of day I work on review jobs to see if they were on time and if they were not then re-scheduling promise dates. Sometime I help co-worker if they were behind like in rough mold. Worked on special projects for production control. I made a lot of good friends.
Proslocal restruatant came in once a week so you could by a lunch, good pay, chance for advancement.
Consjob could be stressful at times because of deadlines.

Goal oriented environment, lots of business growth
I've had a lot of excellent experience over the past few years as a result of new growth opportunities in the electronics industry. I've been able to manage large capital projects and design manufacturing processes to achieve company strategic goals. There are many opportunities to gain new experiences through the ongoing growth the company is currently experiencing. There is a strong emphasis on LEAN process management and data recording. This has facilitated excellent communication and problem avoidance.

Employees had to work as one smooth operating unit to take orders, manufacture what was ordered and get orders out in a timely fashion.

Great company and a great team
The culture with SMC was very good. Benefits were exceptional and the management team was one of the best I've seen. Of course, the work was challenging and there were always issues to be resolved, but the way these were handled and the latitude given local management was extraordinary.

Great coworkers, poor managements
The people you work around are great. It's a fast paced environment and quotas have to be met. The leadership isn't the greatest and many don't approved of the direction the company is going in.

Global Company with International opportunities
In general a very good company to work for. Takes care of the employees in a very good way. Work place culture follows very much the Swedish culture.
Even if it is a global company much of the decision makings are in Sweden.
