Great workplace culture, learned a lot from the company and how the business works. A typical day at work is long and enjoyable and has some difficult times but overall good company to work.

The management is not on one accord, working with the 4 point system is very stressful being a working mother trying to survive.
The over-all company is a great place to work for and have great benefits but if you're a single mother Sanderson farm is not the ideal place to work. The management shows favortism when it comes down to who gets fired or who stays.

Great company to work for
Hard work, however, you are well compensated for your work and dedication to your job. Worked with wonderful honest and dependable people in the Collins plant and learned a lot from them that allowed me to thrive in my career.

I have no review
It is a very fast paced environment with much stress on safety. USDA is present for every step of the process with their standards in addition to the expectations of Sanderson Farms make for a very efficient operation. I am working there presently. Thank you for the opportunity.

Full time line
Poorly managed, high turn over, unrealistic expectations. Fast paced, management doesn't show concern or consideration for the employees. One manager says one thing the other says other..Constant conflicting statements.

Very productive. And it'll teach you a lot.
It' a production job. I l've larned that this job willl either make you, or break you. Management is unerstandable, at times. Co-workers are fun to work with. The hardest part is sometimes trying to stay awake, because of the long hours. The most enjoyabe part is the paycheck at the end of the week, and off on the weekends.
Prosthe payand guys are fun to work with.
Consshort breaks, and need to suppy better gloves

Questions And Answers about Sanderson Farms, Inc.

If you were in charge, what would you do to make Sanderson Farms, Inc. a better place to work?
Asked Nov 8, 2019
Get rid of alot of management...some abuse their authority and think they are holier than thou. Not realizing that what authority they do possess only lies within the confines off the Company...treat people how you want to be treated.
Answered Jun 13, 2021
Better management is needed especially supervisors and superintendents. Attendance policy should be updated. You miss 4 days you are out of there even with doctor's notes, that's crazy. Scheduling vacation should be changed everyone should sign up for thier vacation at the end of the year for the following year.
