Great benefits
Working with no stress and good staff and very educational place to work. Strict on rules especially being on time, after 3 consecutive 1 minute late you got a write up.

Normal
RWJ Barnabas health was a normal experience with no opinion other than I worked there for 20 years and have no complaints it was pleasant and clean and easy to get to

One of the best companies I’ve worked for
The only reason I left is because I relocated. Spent 3 years with RWJ and I would go back if I moved back go NJ. Nurses get paid very well but not so much other positions. Still, I looked forward to going to work everything.
ProsGreat people. Advancement.
ConsCompensation.

RWJ Barnabas
This company had management issue's. Management would on a daily basis be disagreeing and tended to there own agenda, Not always having the best interest of the business in mind. During the merger they released several people who where key people do to there salery..

The kitchen management is horrible.
Wouldn't recommend working in the kitchen . The managers were rude . Everything was run of off favoritism . The whole establishment wasn't fair . Managers used to pick on me and bully me . The male manager sexually harassed me during all his shifts . HR did nothing for me but let me go

Helped me climb the ladder
St. Barnabas has helped me climb the administrative ladder. I started as medical records clerk, and worked my way up to Administrative/ Coordinator. Definitely one of the best working experiences. I was able to excel through St Barnabas and have been able to use my experience else where. Very grateful.
ProsWas able to grow with them
Consshort staffing was a major problem
5.0
Great bosses, coworkers and opportunity to grown.
My manager and supervisor are more than fair with distributing hours to per diem employees. Personally they have given me the opportunity to experience other aspects of the hospital such as the outpatient facility and mammography department.
ProsWillingness to learn/experience new skills
ConsEquipment needs to be updated.
