No one with a brain no more, too high of a turn over, $4000 for a PS5 ??
This company is making money from people that don't have it, the co workers are used till they quit or they are let go for a raison or the other.
Managers are on salary and they work more than 50 hours, no day off if your numbers are not what the higher up expect if you're short handed...in the end it's your problem and it's your fault ALWAYS.
To get promoted you have to kiss ***.
Every other week there is a sales event and you're calling the same people over and over.

Its a steady check, relaxed working enviornment.
Really good place to work for, starting off takes some getting used to but as long as your ok with delivering furnityre for the first part and interested in moving up towards management, that possiblity is always there for the right people with the right mindset of bettering ones life. I would recommend of your looking for an office job.

Hard Work Long Hours
Overall Rent A Center wasn't a bad place to work just extremely stressful. Not much time for family, mandatory overtime and if a store manager you are expected to be there all time and expect a lot of text messages when you are off

Productive place to work
A typical day at work is 10hrs a day. I'm learning the ins and outs of the job,and the most difficult thing is getting the customers to pay their accounts. The most enjoyable part of my job is meeting and greeting the people.

Fast paced work environment.
I worked as a salesmen and delivery man for the first year when I was chosen for an assistant manager position. My responsibilities were extensive and included sales, deliveries, merchandise service, and maintaining inventory. I was also responsible for collection calls when payments were missed. My coworkers were strong and reliable. The hardest part of the job was having to repossess merchandise that benefitted the customers children. The most enjoyable part of the job for me was dealing with the customers on the phone and in their homes.
ProsJob security
ConsEasily injured on the job.

Rent-A-Center
During my time at Rent-A-Center my typical work day consisted of running the store, prepping the sales floor with merchandise and updating paperwork and dealing with regional and district conference calls. I would update and review customer files and operate the credit department, which included but was not restricted to collections/delivery, sales, account management, scheduling, and customer service. I learned while working here how to maintain composure under stress, how to deal with collection processes, how to update and maintain large amounts of files. Management was not always the best as they sometimes set ridiculous goals that were impossible to reach. As each department was pitted against each other. THe workplace was like working in a highly competitive team that majority of the people there were very cut throat and only cared about their goals, regardless of who they threw under the bus to get there. The hardest part was maintaining files and following all local laws in regards to collection processes. The most enjoyable part was helping customers get on point with their payments.
ProsLearning experience
ConsWorking there as it makes you very direct and insensitive.
