ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Obeys traffic laws and follows established traffic and transportation procedures.
2. Delivers all orders to local customers in a professional and customer focused manner.
3. Adheres to schedule
4. Collects, logs and submits any co payments on RX's.
5. Communicates to supervisor all issues immediately.
6. Assists with incoming calls from customer service.
7. Calls patients with information about their delivery status when applicable.
8. Inspects and maintains vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
9. Reports any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
10. Loads and unload strucks, vans, or automobiles.
11. Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
12. Scan on ET Ship and origanize per stop all RX's at the Refill Center and corresponding pharmacy center.
13. Scan every RX with Delivery Track Hand Held
14. Reads maps and follows written or verbal geographic directions.
15. Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
16. Wears a complete uniform and keeps a clean and neat appearance during working hours.
17. Demonstrates courtesy and politeness to patients, visitors and other employees.
18. Maintains open channels of communication with center administration and other company departments; Answers all inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
19. Participates in training and in-service education as required.
20. Participates in department, clinic and other meetings as requested.
21. Complies with Leon Medical Centers' policies and procedures and maintains confidentiality in accordance with state and federal laws.
22. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to operate a a light vehicle
- Working knowledge of the rules and regulations involved in the safe and efficient operation of automotive equipment.
- Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance procedures.
- Ability to deal effectively and patiently with others.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
