Va Beach Va
We have all young people their, all girls and was two guys. Beware. The girls will lie on you, set you up and go behind your back to get you fired. I experienced this first hand. You cannot trust anyone their. Except the owners. But they are not their. So you have 2 young immature people running the place. If the young girls don't like you. They just find a way to get rid of you. Very untrustworthy staff

Pretty Cool
Pretty good for a first job. Met cool people, sold a lot of cakes. It's a fairly easy job and I'm sure most if not anyone would fit right in. Cool managers.

At first when i started working here i thought "oh cool a bakery job". well that soon turned out to be terrible
Yoana is a terrible manager and very unprofessional. When I first started working there, her and the head baker were in a relationship and talked openly about it. The owner knew and so did everyone else. She favorited him most of all but a lot of other employees as well. He soon left and she hired another baker before even asking anyone else about it. That baker left as well and she hired a 17 year old who couldn't legally even use the mixer to bake. She offers no room for growth and does not care about anyone or anything except for making money and making herself look good. She expected a lot for very little money. It was a fun job when she was not around. But please do not work for her. You will lose a lot just because of your job.

Amazing Experience
The entire time I had worked at the mount prospect location in randhurst mall I was treated like family. The environment was fast paced but very well organized which allowed communication to flourish within each department separately as well as when we all needed to strategically get together for a big order. I highly recommend working for this company. The managers and owners are well equip to accomplish goals clearly explained to staff.

Great place to work one of my favorite jobs I've ever had. Awesome staff and great cakes. !! Everyone is a family. The management team is so reasonable and care for their staff.

Pretty fun :)
This was one of my first real jobs and it definitely taught me a lot about the retail workforce. First off, you're helping people buy cake so they're mostly in a good mood! I learned to be accurate and to pay attention to detail otherwise customers will not receive what they asked/payed for. The environment is really fun with all the balloons and merchandise around, and there's always something to do or stock up on. Weekends are very busy, expect to be scheduled.

A rewarding job when working one on one with customers and delicious cakes
In a typical day, you get to bring joy and happiness to customers and their stomachs with delicious cakes and cool designs. I learned how to manage the store and employees, bring satisfaction to customers, hand craft decorations, build long term relationships with repeating customers and much more. It is great when you build friendships with your co-workers, because they usually last even far after you have moved on. The most difficult days are the holidays, since this bakery is like Hallmark (a holiday focused company). The most enjoyable part of the job is when you get to make and see people happy.

Poor management
I was lied to about the pay in the interview and also during my hiring call. I was promised a 30 day review with pay increase and never got it. Management took no accountability for themselves. Blamed us for a bad review when it was the owner and manager in the front that day. Management expected us to take dishwashing shifts even though that wasn't my job description.
