Overall Reviews at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital

Awesome place to work
I have nothing but great reviews for New York Presbyterian Hospital. If I did relocate to North Carolina I would retire with the company. Great opportunities for growth and learning new things. Great pay.

Poor attention to maintenance and aesthetics
I do have clinical duties at NYP, but my employer is Columbia University. I no longer cover the inpatient service. The medical record is antiquated, just switched to EPIC. The leadership is very oriented to reducing expenses, little consideration for physicians or research.

Great co-workers
I love that I’m able to help the community of Washington Height and the Bronx. I am fortunate to work with a excellent team that support each other. Unfortunately, there is no room to grow within NYP.

Not bad
Great place to work depending on what you specialize in and what your priorities are. COVID took a lot out of us and stretched resources, forcing the organization to do more with less. Not bad otherwise.

Busy work place
A typical day at New York-Presbyterian is usually busy. There is an enormous amount of case that needs to clear for surgery scheduled for the following week.
