horrible
Not the place for a good, honest worker that intends to do the right thing and actually do the stops and gets the job done. I got in a while ago under the impression that guys don't wanna work. which was somewhat true but those are the ones management actually cover for. I started out just doing my assigned route and then when they discovered i got it done they started adding work from the guys who would enter stops and not do them or short customers and the unit leaders knew and still know that this happens. eventually they intentionally destroyed our routes thinking it was gonna do something good for the company and it didn't, just created more problems and caused me to be out later, then they figured bumping up the start time would do something for the company which lead it to like 48000 customers in the hole. Figured out the people who bordered me just were taking more shortcuts and it led to those stops being put on my route instead. I was employee of the month and within two months i was the enemy of the state, they tried telling me i was on an eight hour work restriction while getting 95% of my original route then like 30% of the stuff of the guys who bordered me and i was running without breaks and breaking the speed limit and still out for almost 12 hours everyday when my neighbors where mysteriously back from the times 11-2. They micro managed every little bs thing to the extreme. making us attend these stupid meeting and some of them had nothing to do with

Company who only cares account money and not the employees or customers
I have been working here for 6 years and there have been extreme changes. For one, don't expect holidays off (except the ones they have to give you like 4th of July, thanksgiving, Christmas and labor day). And you work until 7pm thanksgiving eve, christmas eve, new years eve, ect. so limited work life balance. In total we get 6 holidays at the Customer Service Center. Don't worry, Corporate gets every other holiday off though! Don't apply if you value your mental health. The hours start 1230-9 (which is outlined) then only the favorites get a better schedule after a while. Its; really based on favorites to get a good schedule. You also have to work a rotating Saturday schedule. Basically, you get yelled at for 8 hours a day by customers because the company can't delivery on time, can't delivery the right product or there was a system error and it was never routed. But instead of the company focusing on the real reason the customer is calling in, they will review your call, make sure it was in the time limit and you seems happy! But the customers don't care it wasn't your fault- you are the first live person they can talk to and will yell at you for everything. There is also no real consequences so a previous co-worker could offer a customer X and not apply it, and when they call back to yell at you there is nothing you can do but to take it. Your bonus are graded off your call time average and 'not ready time'. So if you get a call and the customer has 10+ accounts, then you

This is exactly how the route sales rep job is
This job is a great last resort job. You.should try getting a sales job before.this and.atleast try.your luck. Because with this job, you can potentially maybe make 60 k a year but no more. no overtime pay because not union. they will tell you how much less you.would get paid if they went union,.but this is not true because.the worker would get.paid overtime. And some days, you could easily end up working 13 hours. You could cut corners and not fill racks up completely and get shorter days, but you never know how long your day could be so if you havent.been there 15 years, a second job is out of the question. They once tried going union, but what happened was the managers held classes at the end of the work day after the last person got in to teach why unions are bad. To unionize, it. can take up to a year so their strategy was to hold the workers after everday forcing everyone to work a 14_15 hours a day. Hard labor but that never bothered me. They gave incentives to push certain products, but it was like a pizza party . Yay! free.ice cream on friday if noone gets into an.accident.running their overstacked schedules. BTW if you cant complete your route in a day because of a problem or a delay, your workload got placed.on another worker.who would be pist at.you.not the company. I,had a delivery and pickup of empty bottles at a supermarket. some.guy was stealing bottles and turning them in at the supermarket. so i had.an.unfathomable amount of bottles to pick up , causing a 2h

Good employess and the job is fairly routine, but the management is not capable of supporting and hiring the workers to meet goals.
In a typical day, you are required to maintain the production line you are working on. This includes checking for quality and staying on top of the work schedule, as well as keeping the machines running at an high level of efficiency and performance. I was hired on a high changeover line where you needed to learn all functions of the machines you were responsible for, and to change parts of machines in order to run different bottle sizes and shapes. Only two lines at the facility require this, and the workers on those lines have much more responsibility and knowledge, even though the pay is the same as lines with less requirements and expectations. I was with two other workers on this line who had lots of experience, and they made me part of the team rather quickly. They trained me well, and I became the utility person who worked on all lines and machines, as I took the initiative to learn all equipment. I balanced my workload between the lines as I saw needed, and helped train others to help relieve some of the burden I was facing, as there was a shortage of help, as well as a lack of knowledge workers on the lines. The hardest part of the job was facing goals and expectations from leaders that didn't give you the support or staffing to meet those goals. You are asked to go above and beyond, and to work extremely hard for twelve hours a day in a building with no heating or air conditioning, and are even faced with mandatory overtime when management makes the decision.
Prosgood employees, pay and benefits are also good.
Conslack of staffing, lack of maintenence, long hours and lack of good management.

Great workers poor management
Don't be fooled!!!!!!! This job is no one man job. I've had to do 40 bottle walk ups to the 3rd floor alone. No help at all ever. Company doesn't care about the drivers. The equipment they provide you sucks. Only 3 stair climbers for a branch that has 40 routes. Certain stops are inhuman. A route salesman is responsible for his own route is what they tell you but trust and believe you will be responsible for others routes. Crazy thing is they will give you 15 stops from a guy on top of your 50 stops which puts you at 65 and the guy you have the stops from will have only 30 stops on his day. He will be done before you and will be home drinking hot tea while your out doing his work. The management is all out of whack. They have guys routing the drivers that is unfamiliar with the areas. They have guys over looking the routes that never ran a route in their lifetime but will tell you how to run a route. They have unit leaders that never ran route on your back about how you should run your route. The trucks are never loaded properly which is the warehouse job but you will be responsible and you will find yourself in the warehouse loading your truck. I promise you this. They put everyone's job on the driver. I will not even get into the racist issue but I've seen felt and heard things with my own ears. This job is easy to get because they are constantly losing drivers. Work load is way too much for one guy. FedEx has helpers and their only lifting envelopes. The money doesn't matc
Prosgoing home when you're done with your work and everybody else's work.

Worst place to work
Managers think they are playing Age of Empires... When the regional manager shows up; everything and everyone changes, he leaves and it's time to go back to slavery. Managers have good prices in holidays and eat from restaurants, but employees don't get any of that. Warehouse: if you are not in the circle, you get kick out. Why?easy money for both the plant manager and warehouse manager (if you understand what I mean). Managers will tell you how lucky you are to have a job at this company and if you can't make your job right; there are many people outside waiting for your position? High Production=40-58 hours Low Production =8-32 hours or layoff Employees=always take the blame or get pin pointed Expect to work 7 days a week (3-4 days in between) Horrible schadules and if you are not needed that day, guess what? It's not profitable to much gas and time vs the pay. PMS are just insane, everyone is like crazy trying to make it happen. If you are seasonal worker you will be fired, if you all ready have the plant be a sure that you won't last either... If you are working from October-March is low season and you are more likely to be fired, and if not they will find something to fire you, don't worry it's going to happen. This company is always hiring do you wonder why? Racism at is highs evel. If you make use of the insurance to much it will be mantion that the company is loosing money, since they are also puting a percentage. You dont have time for your famil
ProsHave a smile from all managers; when ther regional manager visits the factory.

Worst place to work at
I came into Nestlé as a seasonal production operator. Now a seasonal operator has a 8 month contract with the company. After your 8 month period, you can reapply after 2 months. Hiring process is a mess. As an operator, you learn the basics to run such machines as a packer or possible the filler. Now learning the basics is not a hard process at all. Finding the right person to train you is!!! It seems like the more seasoned veterans don't like teaching the newcomers. I guess they feel like this person is going to be gone in 8 months, so why bother.... or it's job securirty for them. Luckily, I found the right person to train me. I caught on pretty fast, since I'm mechanically inclined. The job became easy, with no challenge! Within the 8 months, by my second month I've taken my own initiative to learn all the different departments. Started as a packer operator, to a running the filler, being a rotator, already have blowmold experience, as well as husky department, and learning how to change overs. I've asked my immediate supervisor for the time to train in those departments. She was so unorganized, everything went in one ear out the other. It came to the point where I stopped asking. So I took upon myself to learn it all! With that being said, the employees that were hired on a week after after me became full time employees. Now these same people before I left this facility, are still in the same department, worst work ethic ever, oblivious to teamwork, not cross trained

Heavy work load
Going into this company knowing you're gonna be put to work every single day. There are no "slow" days, and if you happen to get lucky with a slow day. They will catch on and add more onto your work load to make sure you have a heavy day. Beginning when hired was told training would last about 3 months give or take. With numbers of driver quitting due to heavy work loads whether you're new or not. You get thrown out to the wolves right away with 40+ stops a day. Not realizing we as drivers are out on the fields ALONE having to transport gallons and cases of water to and from the truck on the daily all day long. Be prepared to get injured almost nearly every single day whether its bumps or cuts here and there. They work off a point system. You have 10 points. You get penalized for EVERYTHING. Ex. Scheduled to deliver 5 gallons of water to customer. Customer only wants 2 out of the 5. Well you will get penalized for something the customer wants! So, basically you are expected to push and harass the customers into taking the original amount they ordered! You are timed on EVERYTHING you do as well. Very fast-paced company. Drivers all in all are friendly to one another and work great as a team. When you do have a heavy work load you are able to call upon another driver if available to come take a load off, and we as drivers know how difficult our jobs is so we're always willing to lend a helping hand to one another when needed. Greet company to work for. Management needs improvement
I was employed with Nestlé for over ten years. This was a great company to work for and the benefits were outstanding. There are times when all technicians get frustrated with jobs (I don't care who you are) and you lose your temper. We had Several units out and routes were sitting. As the routes were leaving several other units went down due to mechanical failure, and damaged equipment over night, this happens and you just role with it. But other departments, aside from Fleet, are constantly losing keys, not filling propane or DEF and damaging equipment with little to no accountability and Fleet is always picking up the pieces it gets frustrating. I lost my temper and threw a small pry-bar into my tool box, aprox 5ft or so and very controlled. I never had any situations like this occur before in my tenure and never made any gestures towards anyone during this altercation, the manager in question said he was "scared of my actions" so that sealed the deal. Mind you when this happened I was well inside the fleet shop and with the proximity of the throw there was no threat to anyone anywhere and he was about 45ft away outside by the shops entrance. I will never understand how I lost my job under these circumstances. I care about my job and my performance, great work ethic and I was always there ready to do what needed to be done. Ten years of employment got me nothing... So is this a good company to work for? My opinion is this... yes it is a good company to work for. With tha

The worse!
Your life as you know it will be ruined if you take a job at this place. Scheduling is a joke and they throw you on whatever days they need you. It's never set to where you can make plans with your family and if you're married, you might end up divorced. Management is so disgusting and self centered with no care in the world for their employees. They allow people to make up rumors and lies and fire people with no cause. The communication is extremely lack luster and your fixing or changing parts in your machines more than it is running. Management is too busy touching the machines, making them worse to run for the operators and then blame them for the way it's performing. In the mist of that, they force all this corporate stuff on you so they can "get through the gate," whatever gate that is? The employees there are all unhappy and disgruntle because they are forced to things that they aren't comfortable doing and most of it really should be done by the maintenance team. They are so over whelmed by the work dumped on them, that they actually don't perform all of the quality checks like they should. The quality of the water isn't great either. The lines are contaminated with several sorts of bacteria and they cover it up by injecting ozone, pretty disgusting right! The company also is very unsafe. They have the operators and maintenance go into, crawl under and get on top of fully powered and functional machines without locking and tagging out. I could go on all day but I will

Questions And Answers about Nestlé Waters North America

What is the work environment and culture like at BlueTriton Brands?
Asked Jul 7, 2016
Nestle Water provides a safe work environment Management supervisors and employees work together to get the job done loyalty to all
Answered Mar 20, 2021
Awful. Toxic environment. Back stabbing from top to bottom. Very unprofessional. Managers joke and plot about firing people just for the thrill of flipping lives upside down. Please don't just believe me of course, do your research. If you interview ask what the turn over rate is not only for entry level positions but high salary positions as well. As they say the proof is in the pudding. Very few stay and those that do only stay because they don't want to start over. Also do your homework on overall state of company.

Just interviewed with nestle. How long does it take to get a call back?
Asked Apr 3, 2017
2 days to get answer. I didn’t get hired. Said it was a cultural issue. They ask how I handled situations on my previous jobs like helping someone. We were always told stay at our machine get a supervisor don’t try and handle it yourself so I did and Nestles does it different. They want you to help and that’s fine I’m glad to help always. They should have ask me how I would handle the situation not how I did at my other jobs. I always go by the rules. I feel like it would have been a great place to work. Sad about the mis communication.

Asked Apr 25, 2018
Absolutely NO TIME TO DRIVE TO OR DO THE STOP they literally give you 2 minutes to drive to a stop drop off 20 five gallon bottles to a 2-3 floor walk up and be at your next stop which is 30 minutes away in the next 5 minutes then say your moving too slow and have to pick up the pace. Now I’m not a math wiz or rocket scientist but that don’t add up

Any benefits like sick personal or vacation days? Insurance? Bonuses? Raises
Asked Feb 10, 2017
You'll get sick time, but if you use it it counts against you, and also your tiny raise. Got sick both ends of winter? Screw you your raise is gone. Got a simple strain or whatever a couple of times and got sick since you delivered in a blizzard sweating? Screw you you're fired. Oh, you have a doctor's note? That's cute, still counts against you. As in you will be written up against you. Don't know when you will want to take vacation? Screw you, you get to report to work an hour or so early to choose your time for the year. Low seniority? Enjoy that February week of time off? Oh, you like to ski? Ok then, have fun in October with your week off.
Answered Sep 13, 2019
Oh, you'll get a bonus every few months on your paystub, it'll be like $20 with no explanation. That's your commission so that they can keep calling you salespeople and avoid paying hourly and over time. I was there 3 years, saw that $20 maybe 2 times. And I led the branch in Cups for 2 years straight!
