Normal retail IT company with not many extras
Nice place to work with flexible hours and now you can work from home one day a week. Dress code is casual which is great and location is irving texas which is close to a lot of nice places to go for lunch.

Treatment of associates not the best/Speaking to the customers
A typical day at Neiman Marcus
I sign in to work look at my schedule see it is email/chat/phone or text.
I take inbound calls etc and place orders or resolve any issues the customer has. First Call resolution.

It could be better.
I’ve seen better days with this company. Now I’m not so sure. It’s a great starter job! Please be sure to come with some sort of college degree if you want to advance. Otherwise you will need to plan to work so many years before someone feels you’re adequate enough for a management position.
ProsSet schedules
ConsOver priced health benefits and pay is not that great.

Neiman Marcus
Neiman Marcus is a company where you can learn about high end designers and become a better candidate in high end retail. It’s a good stepping stone for an employee.

Investing in online services
OK place to work for a self starter. Working on legacy technologies is challenging, but rewarding if progress can be made. New leadership is bringing new ideas to solve hard problems.

Neiman Marcus is for the stuck up
I am a big fan of great customer service and just a peaceful environment. Neiman Marcus made me feel like i was in high school again, it was too caddy if you're a girl thats going to be stressful. It is commission so everyone is very competitive but not in a fun way. The managers show favoritism, just not a good experience at all.
