Friendly environment days and nights shifts, do your job management wont bother you. If you have family problems management won't give you trouble to take time off. Family comes first.

I enjoyed my employment at NOV. Working in the accounting department was a great experience, and I learned a lot from my manager. All the people were wonderful!

Stressful workplace with poor management (mgmt. attrition rate high)
Poorly prepared, too frequent business meetings (off shore/out-of-state by phone... without visual!) Was laid-off abruptly without notice after my annual performance rating which was grossly unfair having designed and engineered power and controls cable routing for there various drilling control systems which were under extremely high industry safety requirements.

Never home too much office gossip
Ok money, flights on commercial were crazy no matter how far you had to fly. Tools could have been better. Food on rigs was great, usually. If you stay away from home good job.

Productive and good place for work as a Engineer
5 day per week (40 hrs) . Full time job No extra hours permit to work .
Workplace is very friendly and organized . Good communication and job sharing .

Great ppl but managers that worked there are real negative ppl. Benefits were good and the training is good. They reward their employees with snacks and lunch at times.

Fun atmosphere to work in
NOV offered a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere to work in. All my coworkers were amazing and helpful. Management was fair but easy going. Work/life balance was doable

Challenging and sometimes stressful. A lot of on the job training. I f you are proactive and willing to put times in learning new things, pick up new skills, you will survive.

productive and fun work place
-on busy season a typical day at work is lots of things to do and learn
--i learned various equipment such as Skidsteer and forklift and in-house overhead crane operation and lots of material handling and management work involving in shipping and receiving in a warehouse/shop environment.
-hardest part of the job is when hoisting the rods loading and uploading it in a trailers, for a indoor crane operator like me, that really need precision, timing and cautions all the time in the work place, to eliminate any accident that may occur in the shop.
-enjoyable part of the job is everyones cooperation in doing their part in the operation of the shop.

Consnot much over time, due of having 3 shift in a day.
