Company changes direction monthly
Spent 2 yrs with this company. Worked in the field which compensation will be under minimum wage after expenses but stuck with it to try and move forward within the ranks. After a year and a half I applied and was awarded promotion only to be laid off 2 months later. Out of the goodness of managements heart they offered prior position back which had been filled, so another words I was left on the street as I watched Mueller drive off without a care in the world. Sound like a place you'd like to work?
ProsNone
ConsMust use personal vehicle, computer, printer, internet, phone, etc.

A horrible place to work - avoid at all costs! You've been warned :)
This review has been a very long time coming, as I had left Mueller in Sep of 2017 to work as an actual insurance inspector at a real company. I've been really busy and happy ever since, but it looks like Mueller has been hiring a lot recently as I saw a bunch of notices on Indeed so... here goes: *THE DOWNSIDE AT MUELLER REPORTS - There is no real training and support, other than their "modules" that you can interact with. They don't even give you enough time to actually learn and absorb what's in these modules - you are just supposed to "go out and do". - They willingly hire 3 employees for one position, all in an effort to make them compete against each other because in the end they will let go of 2 and just keep 1. I am not kidding here folks... my own field manager told me this willingly, about 2 weeks before I left. There were reviews that I'd seen on Indeed that said this, so I point blank asked him (before I had even accepted the job) if the company hires 3 to fire 2. He out and out lied to me, telling me that he would never do that. Yet just 5 weeks later, he told me he did exactly that when I asked him why it seemed like our work hours were getting cut. A classic sleaze move by a former soldier whose legs and knees are now shot, so I guess he got off on the ability to play morally reprehensible games? Oh well :/ - After 30 days, you are expected to be cut off from any help from your direct manager (who is also spread paper thin) and just figure

Being able to make your own schedule. A lot of driving and scenergy.
Great pay if your car can take the mileage. You get to see your area like never before. All you need is Google map knowledge and a reliable car. No people contact necessary
ProsPay, time management, freedom.
ConsA lot of driving, mileage on personal vehicle. Dogs

Preferable for the independent worker type
You can make your own schedule which provides flexibility and freedom. Work from home office and travel to various properties in your local region. Pay is too low to afford living costs in most major US cities.
Prosflexibility and freedom

Very good work life balance
You set your schedule for the week. On Monday you received your work load, so you can plan your week. The days you work, you need to comple at least 10 reports. You get mileage along with your hourly or per job fee. They train you for the job and then you are tested on your knowledge once training is done. It's tough to get promoted because the managers are always changing. They also grade you on your performance. If you are self motivated, it's a good job, if you need constant supervision, then this will not work for you. I always got paid as well. I know some companies hold back your pay if they had an issue with a job you did, but Mueller always paid.
ProsYou set your own schedule

High management turnover
Had 3 different managers and 6 different logistic managers in less than three years. Expected to self train. Compensation for milage is well below IRS published rate. Good if you like little supervision and are a self motivated worker.

Poor management, lack of communication and advancement
While working for Mueller reports is interesting and has lots of flexibility with schedule the management is poor, if you need to reach someone regarding anything you can never get a hold of them and may be weeks before you hear back. You work independently so you are isolated from any management or administration except by phone or email. I was assured i would get 30 to 40 hour a week and it has been ore like 10 to 20 and it has put me and my family in financially stressful position and when I tried to contact my manager to inquire he has continued to put me off for 2 weeks. Extremely disorganized and unprofessional company, I would not recommend working there.

Want to work alone without ANY hand holding for ANY reason? This job is for you!
Amazing place to work if you want to work from home, can afford to rack up miles on a car, and take full control of your own training and work schedule. You get paid by the minute so record and charge for every minute you work to avoid hard feelings. You will not be happy here if your first response to a negative is to whine. You must be solution oriented!

Okay Job for Managing Own Schedule
This is an okay part time job if you do not want to make much money. The number of assigned cases that you work on is low so it does not require much time, but at the same time does not allow you to earn much money.
ProsManage your own schedule
ConsNot many hours

leuke collega's prettige werkomgeving
ProsSociaal ivm gezin
Consgaan helaas verhuizen

Allow me not to comment this as expected - if a management has forgotten what it is to be a Field Rep, they should be swift to remember their days out there and improve the FR position to keep those who still work for them out there.
