If I could give a 0 score I would
Mphasis digital Risk is not a good company. I’m a current employee going on over a year. This company is unorganized, they DO NOT care at all about employees. They fire people without valid reason without any notice. The supervisors tell you something different every day with the exact same supervisor with the exact same question. Supervisors will fire you because they dislike you, for asking questions they can’t answer. They fire people by blocking their access! Or tell a group of 80 they are no longer needed. It’s SO unorganized, I’ve been there a year with no raise and did much much more than needed. . The supervisor I have gossips literally about every person on my team to each other. It is the most unprofessional work environment. It is stressful to wake up and not know if you’ll be able to log in to your system. That’s how they let people know they don’t have a job. They wake up to clock it and access is denied. Good luck trying to talk to anyone they will ignore your calls and there is not any way to speak with HR. This is not a reflection of the clients but the company itself mphasis digital risk. The pay is ok but not worth it. If I had not moved and had higher expenses and multiple children I would have already left. This company is absolutely terrible. They care not at all about their employees. It sickens me to work for this company. They are awful and make reasons up to fire you if they don’t like you! I’m speaking as a current employer seeing this happen to WON

Don't believe the hype this is a horrible company
This is an Indian based company and they have no idea what goes on and the stupidity in the lack of training that we had during my training class they didn't show us how to do any of the floor skills of how to talk to a person of how to run through actual scenarios they had us sit with other people while they were working and we had no clue what was going on because the person we were sitting with wouldn't go through and show us exactly step-by-step what was happening the trainer was her second time ever training she basically put up sheet of paper on the screen and had us read the sheets of paper and that was our training it was the dumbest stupidest training I've ever had in my life and I've been working for over 25 years my manager was actually in my training class cuz she didn't know anything about the job but she turned out to be the manager and will constantly lie about what she had told us when she got caught not knowing the information that was supposed to be given to us we didn't have any sort of stable environment of learning the rules and constantly changed every day and if you didn't learn about a new rule if you were subject to be written up for the constant changes of the rules every single day you got. For going to the bathroom and going to the break room when it was not your break time you're in a point system and in the end I was one of the last two people out of my training class out of about 25 when it it only been 2 months the whole class was just about fi

This company should be ASHAMED
A typical day at Mphasis consist of answering phones, being extremely detailed on all calls in description box, taking abuse from the rude clients we often get, micromanaged by leadership. I learned how to have more patience that I didn't have before I worked here. Working with these clients its safe to say you may need a shot when you get off or before entering work. The people that call are sometimes rude and very incompetent but there are some nice people that call time to time. Management is horrible, they have poor communication and treat us like we are beneath them. Lets not mention people that are not in these managerial roles that think they are and try to dictate orders because they are friends with management. The Lilly Desk is the worst desk to be employed for being that our leaders do not have our back and lack backbone to stand up to their bosses to let them know how badly we are treated. The hardest part of this job is dealing with the phony managers that walk around here and you hear them talking about other ;people that they smile in front of. They need to do an evaluation of our leaders because apparently if you are not friends with them you will not be recognized to be someone of leadership. They do not give raises at this company at least not at the Help Desk even the RDM team says that haven't received raises either. Making $13.25 an hour with all the brain power we exhibit here is insulting. This job should start at $17 at least an hour. Too much is deman

Needs much improvement at Maitland location
Cons: 1. Keeps employees and sometime management in the dark about information. This creates panic over job security and misinformation. 2. Departments seem to be encouraged to not communicate with one another openly and freely. Internal division between MLO/Processors/Underwriting/Management creates a very toxic culture. 3. Band-Aids seem to be utilized to skim over greater issues (such as additional training, mentor program for advancement, adjustments to bonus and customer service goals, and looking into a more uniformed system to streamline the Underwriting needs). 4. Every single day we receive multiple emails that inform the floor that we are not performing and need to do better. Most meeting consist of negative language which does not help. This creates a sense of "this is your fault, now fix the problem". Displaying a more unified front would seem to work in these times. Sometimes we are told we are not performing even though we are. This seems to done so that they can get ahead of their goals. 5. Benefits and pay are there but they seem to show how much your are not valued when compared to other companies. 6. There equipment, internal tracking systems, and information systems are antiquated. This seems to be because they do not want to put in the energy or funds to update our restructure them. Pros: 1. Will take anyone for the most part no matter skill or comprehension level. This gives some a chance to advance themselves or make a bit of money before they find a le

3 years with them and they give us a 10% pay cut and then tout their 9.4% net profit Year over year
So 3 years with them and i am on my 3rd manager, they seem to jump ship when they can. Above average reviews as they never give out a 5 star review as they say there is always something to improve upon. Ask for even a cost of living increase and we get told it's not tied to your review and if it's not review time then it's not in the budget is what we are told. After them sending us a message stating happy 3rd year with us you are a value to our team we get a con call telling us that they are cutting pay 10% across the board, even cutting the pay of the manger telling us that news. No additional info that that. The next day we get the quarterly report and they show NET PROFIT up 9.4% year over year. So they are not making enough on us. RUN from this place. I love where i work but hate working for them....but they have the contact so what can you do. Benefits offered are the bare minimum, most people choose a market place plan rather than taking their expensive benefit offering for minimal coverage. Paid time off doesn't even cover the holidays they don't pay you for. After 3 years still only have 40 hours of PTO, no sick, no personal, no extra COVID pay/benefits/consideration. Payroll out of India so if you have a problem they are never around during our time unless you get into work extra early, so you have to e-mail back and forth. Maybe they are better over seas as they are based in India, but i dont get why there are any positive reviews after 3 years with them.
ProsPaying job.
ConsManagement, pay, benefits, paid time off, pay cuts, job stability, they are in this for the profit of their company.

Management boo!-coworkers yay!
I've known people that have worked here for years and haven't seen more than an intro wage. They heads talk about giving a raise but no action has ever been taken. Most of the people that leave here do so because of the wages. The wages are ok if you do not have any kids or student loans, but most people that have a job here have one or the other if not both. The heads of house are impulsive in their decisions, poor decisions at that. They make the decision, go with it- don't do anything to support the decision until it is already in place and will not tell you about it until the night before they do it, at the soonest. Management tends to stick to themselves, never talking to their employees, and seem willing to throw them under the bus. the over-strict policies hold almost no accommodation for slow days. Better hope you are busy or you will be very bored. Almost no reward for doing well, you either meet the company's strict standards for your desk, or you don't. If you don't you are in trouble, if you do you are probably cheating and will get in trouble anyway. All the major issues with the company come from up the chain Anyone from any team is friendly and everyone is willing to help everyone. I can talk to my Supervisor or Team Lead and they will help me out, and your coworkers will be more than willing to help and laugh with you. Even with the strict policies- they will keep you entertained. This is a very friendly work environment and very accom

Waste of time
I entered the software development US campus program at Mphasis along with approximately 20 other individuals. Most, if not all of us were fresh out of college or had little to no software development work experience. We were provided with technical training for about 2-3 months. This training was a mess to say the least. We were told at the beginning our trainer would be there on the first day, but after 2 weeks he still wasn't there. For the first 3 weeks we were going through online videos for our training (which were extremely terrible). Once the trainer got there, it wasn't so bad as he was extremely knowledgeable. We were told at the beginning of the program that halfway through, we'd be able to give preferences as to locations we wanted to be assigned to, and also that we would at max have to wait a month before being assigned. What actually happened was we had no say in where we wanted to go (meaning they lied to us) and personally I had to wait 5 months after the training ended to actually get assigned to a location. The first person to go to a client location only took a couple weeks but for the majority of us we had to wait several months. Client locations would contact us and say they want us to start on XX date, then completely ghost you 3 days before you were supposed to start. Overall, everything we were told during training ended up being a lie and I feel like I wasted a year of my life when I could have been getting experience elsewhere. Although,

Unethical Management - Digital Risk
The pay was good, the benefits weren't bad. What was horrific was the constant changes in management. In 6 months I had 3 supervisors and was on 3 different teams. They talk to you like you're a child. Training was minimal and you're thrown out into production with high expectations and no Standard Operating Procedures. They left it up to us to make notes in lieu of providing processes. Changes to procedure was made as they figured things out, but only the new employees were updated, the tenured employees would find out through the grapevine, if at all. Management would not deduct your PTO or time the queue was empty from your production hours making your numbers lower than realistic, then sent threatening emails of being written up if you didn't get your numbers up. This would happen even if the queue was empty by noon every day for a month! I kept track of all my "Orders and Receiveds" to prove I was making my numbers, but it doesn't matter, they don't want to hear it, see it, acknowledge their inability to simply make the time in production congruent to time actually spent in the queue. When I was trained in another line of business due to the queue being empty before a full 8 hours a day, they didn't give credit for the work being done in that new line. If you say anything or challenge them, they will write you up. They care only for the client, not their employees. BEWARE!
ProsWork from Home Temporarily. They want an office to really micromanage.
ConsUnethical practices towards employees production numbers and constant mgmnt changes.

Good people, poor management process
The culture was laid back and forgiving of misses in deadlines which was both a blessing and a drawback. A typical day consisted of answering email and phone queries, helping customers with presales and technical issues. I often guided our customers through the process - explaining in detail and answering questions. I also maintained the SCC lab environment, performed testing and R&D on the supported software and hardware. I learned a great deal about current software platforms, improved my troubleshooting skills and gained insight into large corporate B2B relations. I really enjoyed talking to people and solving problems. I also like learning new things and developing improvements to processes. The hardest part was dealing with novice customers who thought they knew everything and refused to conform to our proven established procedures for our team's engagement, which often led to failed opportunities. My immediate manager was very nurturing and a champion for my advancement and development. However the upper corporate structure was lacking in communication and execution, which led to the project's client to cancel the contract.
ProsNo 2 days were the same
ConsPoor corporate management, lack of proper funding for needed resources.

It's all about what you bring to the table.
Mphasis/Digital Risk has been an incredible company to work for. There is so much to learn, and more than enough room for growth. If you work hard, you will undoubtedly make it far in this organization. The hiring process was smooth, training offered was detailed and included training from Mphasis as well as the client. Within a year I have received more recognition than I have gained at any other company. Promotions are offered, but you absolutely must work for them. In total, I have received considerable compensation boosts and been moved to different projects with promotions all in one year. I started my search looking for a company that would invest as much into me as I will invest into them, with Mphasis I have found that. The hard workers around me have also received many opportunities, it is refreshing. Many comments pinpoint the organization's drive for success within client relationships, I can say Mphasis strives for employee engagement as well. Multiple awards per month, courses on improving personal finance as well as the overall quality of life. I am thrilled with my journey, and am sure if you work hard you will feel the same!

Friendly, relaxed and stable job environment but hike & compensation need to worked upon
Pros: • Good work-life balance. However, this is subject to the project/account that you are working in. In my first account, I had to provide production support which involved getting calls at odd hours (middle of the night, weekends, and holidays), coming online and resolving issues. But all in all, I managed to learn a lot through this experience. • Job security. • Monthly salaries on time. • Generous yearly leaves • Mphasis occasionally conducts online surveys among employees to address any concerns or reservations that they might have regarding any aspect of their work experience. This is a welcome initiative that encourages employees to open up and ensure that their voice is heard and that it is reaching the upper echelons of management. Cons: • Salary hike and compensation. Management really need to work on improving this. Salary hike percentage is very low as compared to market standards which has been further impacted by COVID. If Mphasis is not able to provide appropriate and competitive hikes and compensations to its employees, it will continue to lose hard-working and dedicated employees. • Recently, management has started to focus on training and upskilling employees on next-gen technologies. And they have launched a good number of initiatives to achieve that aim. However, once upskilled, management also needs to ensure that those employees are getting allotted to suitable projects. Otherwise, those employees will simply start looking outside Mphasis for a pau

I have been working at Mphasis Ltd Kharadi full-time Pros I joined Mphasis in JAN, 2014 as a fresher and fortunately, I am going to leave it in few days. There are not much pros. After thinking hard, I was able to come across with few of them. 1. If you do not want to work much or stretch yourself, this is a place for you. It is a relaxed kind of job for freshers like any government job 2. Basic amenities and infrastructure of any location are very good. Cons 1. It is often tough for a fresher to get his/her first project after the completion of training. 50% of them remain in bench for a lond period of time which does not count to their professional experience much. 2. Even if some freshers get deployed into project immediately after the training (the lucky ones), they may get maintenance work, ticketing etc. which is a sheer waste of their talent. Only around 20% of the people ( who are deployed into the project) get some good work like that of a developer. Hence, we see that around 10% of the freshers manage to get some good stuff. 3. Salary is very bad for the freshers. Hike is also extremely poor. 4. Unlike other IT companies like Infosys, low level management is extremely bad. There will be absolutely no one to guide you if you want some kind of help. They do not care about freshers. Many a times, it is like you are on your own. 5. Bad training. Seriously, their only aim is to anyhow complete the training. 6. Deployment of freshers into the project is

Interviewed Candidate | Pune, Maharashtra | Dec 10, 2019
Worst company with insensitive & less knowledged people
This company is WORST. Being a job applicant itself, I have had a worst transaction experience with the people working there. - in any professional company, it is informed to the candidate beforehand as how many rounds of interview will be conducted. but the unethical people in Mphasis(worthless pune) intentionally suppressed it and they kept conducting interviews one after another wasting my time and effort till the client roun. at the 3rd round, i cleared it and the client accepted my expertise then and there too. - they put so much worthless to twist the questions to huge extent to make it tough but they broke the context of the question. being in the field for 16yrs, i know their question was confusingly created just to show off their talent but they dont that they are confusing others over a simple direct question. and they gave me advice on how to respond when they dont know about their own mess - after everything is done, its team came up with lame reasons and excuses as I worked on short term projects and having gaps between 2 companies when I was struggling to get a job. What kind of insensitive people and less knowledged ones ask such questions. And that too after client accepted my profile and the Mphasis people got that new project from client just showcasing me.
