Contract Work
The issue with contract work is that when a position opens within the company you are contracting for, you can not apply as this would be a conflict of interest and could violate the contract you signed with the company paying you.

Unlimited Commission and Nerf Gun Fights
My time at Modis was better than I can say for my other jobs in the past. The benefits were great (full health, 401k, dental, vision, Legal, you name it), the commission was uncapped, and the environment was fantastic. This is not a stuffy, dull office. It is lively and full of diverse personalities with much to offer. I was completely new to recruiting and in just a couple months I had it down, thanks to my wonderful coworkers that took the time to mentor me and show me the way.

the position was supposed to be a logistical and technical support phone support position. the training on the logistical side was good, the training and tools use and explanation of the need to keep calls to a minimum time was unrealistic and poorly executed.

Good Stepping Stone - Poor Job Security
Overall, Modis provides good employment and job skills. Your time at Modis will almost entirely depend on which account you are put at. If you happen to be assigned to an account that has a very unhappy client and seems like a sinking ship, then your time at Modis will be short. As Modis comes under increasing scrutiny, the slightest sign of potentially poor work, calling off ill without prior approval, or even an unhappy user will be enough to have your contract ended. Tread carefully.

The Reps at Modis helped me get the job at JP Morgan Chase. They were very professional and kind. They helped me in every wat possible and answered any questions I had.

Miss this position
One the best positions that I have! Miss working with all the clients on a day to day basis! Hardest part of my job was getting people to work 1-2 hours for a project but when I did get them they were the best employees!

Manufacturing Bioprocess Technician(Genentech)
I worked for Modis on assignment at Genentech (Vacaville). I have worked on this assignment for 1 year as a Manufacturing Bioprocess Technician. I was able to learn the job responsibilities and was trained well by other technicians within 6 months. During my time there were many changes to management and lots of internal restructuring which made performing the job a bit overwhelming and stressful at times due to constant changes to day to day operations and uncertainty of job security. Overall I gained some experience in Biotech/Manufacturing, and I enjoyed the company culture and the co-workers were nice. I felt like I maxed out in my capacity to learn and challenge myself in less than 1 year, and I felt like there was no room for career advancement.

MODIS is a good company to work for. I was placed on assignment to contract for HP Enterprises at AGCO Corporation in Duluth, Georgia. I enjoyed working with my assigned team and Loved satisfying AGCO personnel during my contract with MODIS.
