The experience at the Supreme Court is a rewarding experience. Here my job description entails preparing and issuing Jury Summons across Jamaica. Sometimes its challenging but every moment is also rewarding.

a nice environment.
it is a mandatory programme for all Nigerian graduates to serve in any organisation they are posted to. you don't have a choice of where to go to. you go to a place you are posted to and serve.

Exciting place to work
Work starts at 8:30 am Mondays to Fridays. The calls come start coming in as soon as work begins and so i have to ensure that I am well ready to receive them and to dispatch them quickly and effectively. I have learned that professionalism is very important and that courtesy is also very critical to the person who is not visible. The Management at the Ministry is very focused on Customer Services, as it believes that the customer should be given the very best. It's a very sociable environment and persons are courteous and ready to help as best as they can. The hardest part of the job is to deal with customers who are unkind, spiteful and difficult. the most enjoyable part of the job is to know that you can help someone achieve just what they set out to do acomplish when they call the ministry
ProsCoffee breaks are afforded
ConsHealth benefits are afforded, incentives are provided

Computer Maintenance
Working at the Ministry of Justice would have allowed to experience computer repairs on a physical level and basic system administration to assist other co-workers in getting their tasks completed on a daily basis. Also ensuring computers are up to date both hardware and software wise.

Productive
in business, it's human management that I liked. you can expose your views when you work on behalf of the state, the tasks are not to discuss. There is abuse of authority. The independence of some officials causes others to hide their competence

Hard work, accurate,
make an appointment and send the appoint date to the law case parties to show in that date. After they show at the office in that date we start a formal session and start to document this session in written after that i start to interrogate the case parties to reach who has the right in the case after that i ask them to bring the papers that proof their sayings and make an appointment to bring their papers then i make another to inspect the real estate which is the case about it finally write a report to the court to make it's own judgment.
Prosfreely make the appointments according to my schedule doesn't mean i have to attend every day
ConsI have to finish a specific number of the cases every month

Great people and excellent place to work
Great place to work but the pay structure is not at all competitive with the open market, this means they lose out on great staff unless they employ them as contractors which is often what they have to resort to

Normal and competitive Workplace
I have been working in the Ministry of Justice in Qatar since 2104 until now. The work was sometimes hard and I spend a lot of extra time and attending the weekend time, but they treat they're employees with fairness, respect and kindness, and to me that makes such a big difference.
ProsFree Gym - Medical Assurance - Housing allowance

Productive, no 2 days were the same and my colleagues and management made it easier to come to work
Typical day at work would involve great team bonding at the same time getting the required work done. Having an awesome team allowed us to never have a dull moment at work, we could laugh at each other's errors and then solve them together as a team. Hardest part of the day would be, having to do our jobs and the outcome not being to that of what the customer had to do but we were restricted by legislation to do anything else.

Keeping Your Composure
As a collections agent/bailiff, work was never dull and there was always job security. There was a need for compassion for the department's "clients" but also a requirement to come to a successful conclusion for both parties

Challenging and fun workplace.
Working at the Ministry of Justice Fines Collections Department was a very challenging experience. My job involved preparing daily warrants for our bailiffs to action, issueing and printing Warrant to Seize Property, taking the next action on returned Warrants, assigning Warrant to Arrest, dealing with customers over the counter who have had their vehicles seized or clamped by our bailiffs, setting up time payment arrangements, dealing with customers who have Court Imposed fines, arranging police assistance for our bailiffs when needed. The job is very challenging and can be very demanding at times, but having to work in a great and supportive team made my job alot easier. The hardest part of the job would be sometimes having to deal with aggresive and abusive customers, but the most enjoyable part of the job, is having to help customers who are struggling to pay their fines by setting up time payment arrangements with them.

great environment and team
on a day to day basis I answer phones, set up meetings, file folders, email staff/management, updating roster. I came out of this job with great learning experiences and many skills, due to previous studies i learnt a great deal around computing and internet/Microsoft programmes but working for the ministry boosted and enhance more of my skilled capability. My team were always a joy to work with i believe a company can only exceed if your workers are always happy and that was exactly what the atmosphere was. The hardest part of the job was just really being seated all day and not being very proactive due to high computing (email, files) needs. the most enjoyable part was always getting the job done and beyond the companies expectations.
