Its not about what you know its who you know that makes the job ruff. I not really a big fan of favoritism an feel everyone needs to be treated equal an that's not the way the company does.

An exciting and never boring place.
The projects team is a great group of people to work with.
A typical day consist of meetings and entering information into the system. The hardest part of the job is making sure all the US Region has the updates needed for each project.

Great place to work; highest paying job in area
I’ve worked at Metalsa - Elizabethtown for 3 years. I love it. The team members are great, most coordinators/management are laid back and show interest in your personal development, the union benefits are outstanding, the pay is on point with annual increases, the health benefits are unbeatable. I’d rate Metalsa a 10/10.

Good place to work but lack of communication
I enjoyed the time I spent at Metalsa but was let go due to budget cuts. I was able to move from a production technician to a maintenance coordinator with hard work and dedication with no experience or education. The only downside is the severe lack of communication in the facility as a whole.

Short-sightedness, lack of preparation, and lack of support to team members often fosters a sense of blame when assessing problems rather than building a teamwork approach to developing solutions.

Una compañía con mucha cultura, un ambiente de trabajo respetuoso, equipos sólidos de trabajo.
Iniciando actividades formaba parte del recorrido de producción en piso donde se muestran los relevantes del turno anterior (nocturno) y se comenzaban a tomar decisiones para corregir en caso de que no se hubiese corregido al 100% durante el turno, revisábamos indicadores de área y se daba retroalimentación a estos así como el avance de las mejoras que se estuvieran implementando por departamento. En el transcurso del día se presentaba mucho la toma de decisiones en equipo, con todos los departamentos para ver la forma más óptima de atacar las problemáticas que se fueran presentando. Dentro de mis actividades también estaba todo lo relacionado con Lean Manufacturing, generación de gráficas pareto, kaizen, toma de tiempos de ciclo, revisar como generar un proceso mas corto en las mesas de trabajo y a la vez más óptimo para los operadores.

Un excelente lugar para desarrollarse
Metalsa fue una buena experiencia para mí, tienen un modelo de trabajo muy bueno y ponen mucha atención en la actitud de la gente a la que reclutan, eso se ve reflejado en un muy buen ambiente laboral y en que todos siempre tienen la disposición de apoyar para lograr los objetivos trazados.
El único "pero" que pondría es que falta un poco de flexibilidad y comprensión en cuestión de horarios y permisos a los estudiantes, debido a requerimientos de la escuela precisamente, fuera de eso todo excelente, se involucra mucho a los practicantes en tomas de decisiones y delegación de responsabilidades, lo cual ayuda mucho para el desarrollo profesional.

Muy buena compañía ya que proporciona todos los recursos necesarios para realizar el trabajo necesario.
con lo que me tope fue que no daban la capacitación necesaria para cambio de categoría y los turnos rotativos.
