Overall Reviews at Logan's Roadhouse

Everyone's experience could be different.
Pay was low and flexibility for school expectations was minimal. I needed flexible time during my swim season, which was a challenge for them. Also felt the pay was very low. Management changed a few times in my short time with them.
ProsBusy environment and good food. Customers are generally pleased.
ConsStaff gets stressed and sometimes disrespectful to others.

Great Staff and fun environment
This was a great job to help me through college. I made tons of friends and we were all a really great team. Even during those extremely stressful shifts that you never think will end.

Exhausting
It's a see-saw work environment that is competitively cut-throat, requiring long hours and some weeks with no time off. Good if you have no family, bad if you do.

Productive and fast paced
Employees had to work at a fast pace and perform many job responsibilities. Customer had to be greeted and served in a timely manner. Food must be prepared correctly before taken out to customers.
ProsHalf off meals
ConsNo breaks

Fun place to work but no benefits except discounted meals
Great work environment and a not perfect but fair and hard working management team. Extremely fast paced but the teamwork factor is strong and helps ease the tension when business is at it's peak. We would get a lot of good sized military parties that would keep you running but you would have a great time with the guests while you did it. In my time there my team and I were like a family. I only left because of the opportunity I was offered in Houston
ProsGreat team to work with and a 50% discount
Consmost all shifts were split making it hard to make plans

Employees
Most of the employees didnt get along with each other. The restaurant would always be disorganized and not well managed. Also managers wont so polite with employees

Slowly Declining
Work/Life balance was good, as long as you stayed staff to the proper pars; however, attracting new associates was difficult because of constrictions put on what we were allowed to pay. Upper management in the company was frustrating, as they didn't seem to have a clear idea of what direction they wanted to move in. At least 12 major menu changes every few months, a lot of waffling and changing of minds. Quality of product deteriorated over my last year with them in an attempt to save money.

Great place to work
The company itself is growing and I cant wait to see where they go with their brand! I enjoyed working for a company who truly cares about their employees and guests. I wish I wasn't leaving!

A great joy to work here, love meeting new people all the time and love the outgoing attitudes that most of the employees have, always seemed to spread the joy!!
