Great Company 10 Years as An Agent and I Love the Flexibility
Many recent changes to go to Apps that I do not like (and Invoicing procedures), but the pay is really good and I Enjoy being an Independent Contractor. Lots of opportunities. Great ease of scheduling.

Somewhat flexible but very stressful
The plus side to becoming a contract employee with Liveopps is that you have some degree of flexibility in terms of hours required, depending on the work area that you are assigned (or able to choose). The downside is that many of the roles have VERY stressful somewhat unattainable metrics. Many folks are frequently dismissed from their positions due to matric non compliance, however what they are asking many times, does not make sense. If the customer is not willing to purchase anything in addition to what they are calling about, how can that be counted against you?

Working from Home
What I like most is being able to work from home creating my own work schedule. I love the benefit of working my own schedule being my own boss. Because I work as a Independent Agent Customer Service Representative, I get a chance to meet a lot of interesting people over the phone that I have the opportunity to assist.

a typical day at work would be helping the customers with orders.
i learned and also gained experience in the customer service field.
you are your own manager and also an Independent Contractor.
it is easy to get along with your co-workers.
the hardest part of the job is when you have technical issues with PC.
the most enjoyable part of the job is when you can make your own schedule.
I can say that of all the remote opportunities I like LiveOps best. The only thing I had to pay for out of pocket was for the background check. Equipment for my line is basic : Desktop computer + Landline + Landline Phone for callcenter work (Coodio). My particular line is 24 hours so as long as there is time availability at the same time you want to work you can hop on and work. Important to know : this is not a position that will hold your hand, LiveOps is adamant that as a contract worker you are not an employee and thus troubleshooting tech issues, navigating the ins and outs and ups and downs will be your responsibility. When possible help will be provided but you will have to wait for that assistance. If you can't be patient and just do the best you can do without stressing this won't be the opportunity for you. In addition, I would always suggest having more than one LiveOps line for work and/or having an additional job. This company is not your job- you do contract work for it so you are not an employee and can be let go with little to no notice and no you don't get unemployment compensation. Overall, it's a great and legit work from home way to make money. It has its frustrations definitely. But it pays more than brick & mortar locations these days. Which is sad and pitiful, but works out great. I luv being able to do my work at home without having to deal with corporate bullpen mess. Throughout the year they also have "Roadshows" so you can meet your leadership team

Convenient
Very convenient job to work for. Easy to set up home office. Can Work and schedule your own hours. They have several companies that give you earning potential.
This is the best work from home agency out there.
Great lines of clients to service.
Sometimes not so easy to add additional lines to service due to client conflicts, but overall it's a great company!

Great when you're stuck at home
Liveops can be good for those with kids, don't have a car or just enjoy staying at home. The hardest part is the script, if you don't say everything verbatim you get strikes, notes and complaints that can cause you to lose your job. People can be very mean if you sound just a little unsure make sure you're confident or else they will call you out.

Great for extra income. Been with LiveOps for about 6 months and working from home with flexible hours is great. This company offers customer service support for different organizations and you can work when you want by scheduling your own hours.

You only pay $40 for a Back Ground check. No other up front charges or purchases whatsoever. All you need is a computer that meets the requirements, high speed internet and a land line phone.

NO. Most training is 2-4 weeks. There is absolutely no paid training.

No pay for training the first 2-3 weeks until you start nesting then youre paid a flat rate per minute. Then, you get paid twice a month.
