Lasership
Ability to work independently. Gain warehouse and delivery skills. Workday from start to finish is dependent on your scheduled route, usually 8 hour days.

Good workplace; terrible with raises and advancement
I would like to continue working at this job but I’ve been working here for 6 years. They are terrible with raises and advancement in the company in general. Very laid back work environment. But the main issues is they do not want to pay more than $10 for warehouse work( which needs to be at least $13 for the work they do in there).I think that is just disrespectful and the hours are inconsistent .

Nice place to work with lots of traveling
The position required 100% traveling through out the northeast region. Worked with very experienced people. I enjoyed the ability to help raise the level of professional experience at LaserShip.

Employment and Employee’s
I loved working with Lasership. If I move back to Florida I would go back to the company if there is a job opening. Loved my colleagues and management team. The best job I have ever had in Orlando, Florida. Love the team work and how family oriented they are with everyone. Great place to work!

For the right person it could be a good fit
Some of the upper mgmt are really awesome but the lower mgmt are often horrible, usually corrupt or incompetent. During peak season you will be fired for taking a day off even if it was a scheduled and mgmt has known about it long in advance. Very toxic culture overall which seemed to stem from short-sightedness in lower mgmt and lacking a sense of value in the company. Every single person there will throw you under the bus without hesitation. The work day goes quick, each day is pretty structured but also unique and interesting. There are paths to promotion and I think for certain people who can adjust their schedule for company needs it was not a bad place to work.

Questions And Answers about Lasership

If you were in charge, what would you do to make Lasership a better place to work?
Asked Sep 14, 2017
Not charge for the app needed to do your job. It doesn't work half the time anyway. Provide actual pay scales rather than vague answers like "each route pays differently. Depends on how far you drive and how many packages you deliver" There is no way to tell if you are even paid correctly at all like that!
Answered Nov 17, 2021
Mogadore Ohio. Pay fairly and hire more people. Customers are being told there shipments are delayed due to weather when there isn’t bad weather and they are told it will be there next day but it won’t. They call angry. Everyone’s behind and overworked and it’s a mess.

What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at Lasership?
Asked Aug 30, 2016
Dont waste your time because you will regret it in a few months. Pay will be missing from your check every single week. Plus one day of every week you will be working for free to pay for shirts you dont want, the app, and some sort of fuel charge. Not stable either. One day they will just give your best route to someone they like better. You will tear up your van with the mileage. You will receive about what the govt allows you in tax deductions for your mileage. but no compensstion for your time. That and your labor handling huge bins, totes and multiple packages is all done for free while you sell you car mileage cheaply.

Lasership is definitely one of the best jobs I have ever had. As a trainer in customer service I would definitely suggest that you bring you! Being your authentic self and having a great personality will definitely win over the heart of the person doing the interviewing.

How flexible are your working hours at Lasership?
Asked Apr 3, 2020
Not at all. One set schedule
Answered Dec 8, 2020
It's very flexible but you would like to deliver early
Answered Nov 27, 2020
What is a typical day like for you at Lasership?
Asked Apr 3, 2020
No day is ever the same. Sometimes you have to wait for the truck up to 1-2 hours. You come in and set up the warehouse and make sure the guns are charged and in place. You are not allowed in the kitchen anymore, so the give the workers a fridge and water cooler in the warehouse. The warehouse if filthy and there are pigeons flying all over the place.
Answered Dec 8, 2020
You go to the warehouse to pickup the package. After you scan all the package and number them. Then you start delivering
Answered Nov 27, 2020
What is the best part of working at Lasership?
Asked Dec 24, 2019
The weeks I don't get screwed out of my pay
Answered Aug 4, 2020
The best part is nobody really cares about anything if you are a good worker and you work really hard and you care about your job it doesn't matter. Simply it's not the place for you. You can watch everybody else fail day after day and not care and they will not be fired and if they are they can apply for the job and they'll hire them right back.
