Krispy kreme
Their knowledge of a baker's world was a bit subpar due to the fact that when they were training me they had a new girl train me and since I had been working there for 6 months I asked to move up they said no and of course me being me I needed to have a sense of accomplishment. Their opinion seemed very biased towards their new employees versus their old one

The Smiles you get from customers and when the business is slow
The atmosphere, co-workers and management is Great. When cooking the product or delivering it you'll have to see the SMILES that u put on people's faces. The only downside to it is when it's time to go home after 10 - 14 hours jus have to wait until the next day.
ProsMeeting alot of different people
ConsNot alot of orders the days are short

It’s alright
Employees are nice but often doesn’t help out when you ask for help. Very competitive. Fast working environment. Management was a bit off and unorganized.

Very fun and upbeat place to work for
The managers were always happy to be at work. That made everyone happy to be there. Everyone worked as a team helping each other out if you didn’t know something.

Fun place
Free doughnuts. Doughnuts for distributing during Halloween. Excellent Hyperion systems. Flexible hours and good work life balance. Enjoyed my stay there.

If you're thinking about applying at Krispy Kreme...THINK AGAIN!!!
The family that runs the Krispy Kreme locations in Nebraska and Iowa are are the scum of all management.
They absolutely hold their employees to a higher standard than they hold themselves. They schedule themselves, but then are late, or call in all together. If they do show up you can bet that they're going to be on the computer in the office pretending to work.
They're not reliable.
They have no problem scheduling a person 2pm to 1am, then scheduling that same person to come in the next day at 3am (2 hours after working an 11 hour shift).
In addition to the crazy hours, if you're a production employee you're expected to work from 3am until 1-2pm with NO break. If the fryer needs to be cleaned, you better be prepared to work 16 hours with no break.
Do you want to know what hours you work next week? Well the schedule isn't posted until the day before it starts, so good luck making plans. Sure you could just take the day off...you just have to talk face to face to the GM...oh wait that's right she calls in all of the time. The schedule is sometimes changed in the middle of the week too. That means if you don't show up for your shift because you didn't now about it, it's a no call no show.
Work hard to get paid more, just so new employees get hired and make as much as you. Some regular workers get paid more than some supervisors. Pay here is very varied. Employers try to keep it hush hush.
There is also a lot of favoritism.
ProsFree donuts
Conspay differences, management, hours, broken equipment

Horrible Company To Work For
Stressful hours, no breaks constantly on your feet and no rest. No consideration for employees nor any benefits being such a large company. Absolutely no job security and no concern for anyone age or health. It is absolutely horrifying how excessive the mistreatment of employees.
Prosparking
Conseverything - no breaks 12+ hour shifts no consideration

Productive and highly professional workplace
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Corporation is a great company. The opportunity to work with diverse groups of people in various business disciplines was very impressive. The CEO's leadership of business culture is phenomenal and his leadership team is one of the best in the nation.
