Being productive!
I had a fast paced and stressful job as a Buyer, but it was rewarding! I did my best and was appreciated for my work! It can be hard to move up. Must have a great relationships with upper management and the right credentials.

Typical day at work includes different challenges, you have to use your skills you have learned to do your job and make improvements every day.
I have learned many things from how to do day to day activities to maybe one day being a great manager.
Management ranges from some being okay to others being very uneasy to work with.
Most of the co-workers don't really care what happens due to certain mangers but there are some that put there heart into it.
Hardest is the lack of integrity of some.

Takes forever to get anything accomplished in upper management. Too many layers that have to approve, delaying easy tasks to remarkably long timetable

Production schedule achieved through process compliance.
Visually inspect previous shift welding fabrication progress/quality, mark up/indicate on specific welds, non compliance to weld specification requirements specific to component.
Visually inspect fabrication quality documentation, sign of on relevant area's. Communicate identified area's for improvement with qualified welding personnel, leading hands, supervisors and quality assurance personnel.
Address are's of concern to operations management and fabrication supervisors.
The hardest part of the job would be ensuring correct welding heat input , through welding procedure specification requirements, to welding operators performing welds while achieving maximum weld metal deposition rate at optimum value heat input !
The most enjoyable part of the job... is achieving the above in all welding position application 1000% of production/maintenance.

Poor Managment
I worked hard everyday, rarely called in sick... once my 1 year contract was up they let me go. It was very upsetting I loved my job there and could have seen myself staying there until retirement.

not a good placed to be
management sucks, all the supervisors are buddy's go hunting, fishing, drinking and that's all they talk about during the day, instead of helping with the workload. no chance of advancement and the raises suck, no future in this place.

En general Komatsu a sido la mejor empresa en la que e trabajado, muy buen ambiente laboral, accesibilidad para comunicarse con la jefatura. El sueldo no es muy bueno al principio, pero tiene muchos beneficios de seguro de salud y dental, aguinaldos, bonos de vacaciones entre otros.
Komatsu fue una escuela para mi, aprendí conocimientos duros y blandos, me dieron la oportunidad de hacer el curso de maquinaria y sacar la licencia clase D. En general, recomiendo esta empresa para trabajar. Tuve mucha suerte de trabajar en esta empresa, conocí muchas personas buenas e hice algunos amigos, tuve muy buenos jefes.

Cuando llegas saludas a todo el equipo de trabajo, luego la planificadora da las tareas a cargo de cada uno, luego que se te otorga una tarea hay que realizar una ART, permiso de trabajo y pre-usos.

Great fun place to work
I worked there for nearly 5 years and met some amazing people. Very down to earth culture and I would recommend it.
They are very good to staff, their IT system was up to date when I was there. I was on their social club committee so we arranged various activities.
