Great benefits Flexible work hours
You can be called on to cashier or get carts for customers, As well as stock selves and clean areas. Working as you go if you walk to use the bathroom clean on your way to and from the bathroom. Multitasking is the key to success. Workplace was family like very inviting. Helping maintain cleanliness. Fast pace work environment management will teach you new things if willing to learn
ProsGreat benefits and Fast pace
ConsNeed more full time positions

It was just a job
I worked here to help pay for my ffa animals in high school I got treated real poorly by my employees but I didn’t quit because I needed to money and wanted to get out of the house I quit because I was getting ready to graduate and I was also moving to Chico the management was bad as well but I got through it as if it was just another day.

When your a good worker the Managers would fight over who would get you for the day
Compensation lousy only received a raise when you move up from one position to another. Hours flexible around family life . The good Managers were cut first when store closing.

It was an easy place to work at most of the times
Great employees and management was pretty good. My work a Sales Associate wasn't to bad but the only downside was there wasn't any improvement from management to move you up in a higher position.
ProsLunch breaks, breaks, management would appreciate there employees work, they would work around your schedule
ConsThey didn't provide much benefits, cash registers were a hassle to work with sometimes

Supportive environment
I worked at Kmart as a teenager and young adult, but during my time with this company I felt that I was treated fairly and promoted, even though /I was part time help.
ProsSupport from managers and supervisors
ConsRetail hours are not always conducive to family life

Great co-workers but management doesn't take responsibility for their actions
Worked for the company for nearly 5 years now and have experienced some highs and lows. Currently experiencing the worst conflict between management and team members I have ever experienced in any workplace. 0 responsibility being taken for their actions, disregarding employees' concern and instead choosing to divert conversations that are being made in hopes of coming to a resolution of some form into a blame game, with all the blame going on team members and 0 on the manager in question.

decent first job
worked at kmart for three years, and learned quickly about customer service, time management, and understandings of retail, but before long felt stagnant and repetitive.
hardest/most frustrating part of the job was the inconsistent payslips that disappeared and i wasnt able to access it. likewise, used to be able to have breaks after 3hrs, but managers were inconsistent with break times and when.
most enjoyable part of the job were the other staff members, always very friendly and helpful.
Pros50% of clothing worn to work. 5% off everything else
Consunfair payslip methods and inconsistent breaks
