Kind representatives but little guarantee of job security
Kforce has many opportunities for temporary positions but there is not a very set schedule to know when your contract will end and when or if you will have a new job opportunity quickly after one contract ends. Wonderful communication.

Its a Temp Job
Temp to hire means, you are disposable very quickly with out any warnings and Kforce gives you know heads up either. The contracts are much longer than most ( 6 months or 600 hrs before considered for being hired). The work was simple ( data entry for BrightSpring) the pay was excellent. BrightSpring did not have many rules or regulations for their temp employees. So you are in limbo, which also means they can make up guidlines and not tell you about them until they let you go.

Contractor
Started off good then down hill. No breaks and compensation was not correct the entire time, so could be only back pay 4 weeks.
Contract over contractors for sure!
ProsQuick hire
ConsNo means to an end pay wise and job security

Great Work Environment just Not My Cup of Tea
Kforce had a very positive work environment. There were always team socials and community service events. There were also always opportunities to move forward or even laterally if desired. Recruiting was just not my ideal job position and was something that made me very unhappy in genera.

Helpful and nice environment
First Interviwer seemed non interested in helping me. More concerned about her vacation. Second interviewer pleasant and knowledgeable. She found me a job with Dynamex.

Rise and grind culture
I worked at Kforce for 1.5 years which was a long time compared to most employees. High turnover and competitive. But that's the nature of the business. I think the biggest problem was that management micromanaged even the highest-earning employees. Management isn't as experienced as the successful employees, but they will constantly implement new requirements and expectations that aren't realistic. I had to fight for commission I had earned a few times. Some people like this environment and some don't.
But! They pay you a decent salary before you start making enough commission which isn't common in this industry
ProsProvides annual salary
ConsCompetitive, rigid environment, daily quotas

Was Contract Job was able to Telecommute for the assigned Job
I was happy that the manager at Kforce was able to give me a great contract salary.
On this Contract Job was able to Telecommute for the assigned Job, which was fantastic. Was assigned to work for the telecommunication sector for a Big Bank.
Learned how things worked for the Banks Internal customers, what their process was from the start of new projects and implementation of the services needed by the internal clients,
I enjoyed learning the difference aspects of the job assigned and it kept me busy daily so the day went by fast.
ProsAble to Telecommute, great hourly pay
ConsNo Healthcare, no vacation, No paid time off, No paid Holidays. No sick leave.
