Productive fun easy great place to learn customer service
I've worked for jersey mikes for a total of 5 years. I've been to a few Different locations and all of them are great. they had different general managers. All very professional and helpful
ProsGreat learning experience
ConsNo driving through

Not very productive but very easy to learn
The job was very easy to learn but there was not much that went into it. The management was more or less incompetent and did not really run the best business in my opinion. I would recommend this job to a person with little to no experience in the food industry but if one has any experience I would not recommend it.
ProsVery easy to learn and to get in the swing of things
ConsDid not feed us if we didn’t work more than 6 hours and the management was not very good

Not a pleasant experience
While working at Jersey Mikes I learned a lot about how to hold yourself together throughout a bad situation. At the time I had this job I was in school and had to take whatever could work around my schedule. While I was there my pay check was stoled by an employe who was dating the owners daughter. I also had my hours completely cut after injuring myself at work.
Prosgained work experience

Felt like a big family most of the time
It was all about team work and I loved that it’s a great place to work if you like to have a team and people to back you up the manager is always on top of everything he can be as much as one person can be
ProsHalf off subs are great
ConsBread isn’t that good for the belly

lots of hours - unappreciated
worked well over 80 hours a week between in store, inventories, emails, texts, and calls. he said he wanted a work life balance, and provided that at first. over time, he became out of touch with stores and watned me to work 55 hours instore and still deal with 3 other stores issues, repairs, ada audits, profit and loss etc. pay was cut 1/2 and still wanted me to continue. not practablen for someone who wont live in stores.

Productive work environment
-Everyday is a certain cleaning and restocking list you must complete
- Learned to be a team player and become fast at the things I do
-Manager is awesome
-Hardest part is dealing with rude customers
-Most enjoyable is the free sandwiches
ProsFree subs
ConsMinimum wage. Do not give enough pay for the things we do

Would rather work at Wendy’s
They showed no confidence for their employees or themselves. They act strict to me but then act like they are best friends with everyone else. The job takes three days to master everything so it’s gets very easy. Thyroid are all sad losers. But still at end of day you feel unwanted and no comfort or compliments and just from general personalities other employees like trainers, they seem to be talking behind your bad badly and they over estimate their power.

Stressful
Unfair pay
poor Managment
If you are a full time employee you can expect to work 10-12 hour shifts. You will be on your feet the whole time with no breaks.
