Management is everything. Every great team starts with a great manager.
I really enjoyed the work environment. The atmosphere was very positive for the most part. I really enjoyed my job and the camaraderie with my other piers. The only downfall was a really bad manager who could manage his team. A manager who sets himself above his team and tends to put them down. I did experience this with my last manager who was excellent in production but did was unaware of how to manage a team. I worked with several managers at Intuit. This last manger was the only bad one I had experienced. He did lose several great people because of his poor management skills. I'm hoping to work at Intuit again under a different manager.

The whole team was such a pleasure to work with!
The interaction with the team, as well as my reporting supervisor, was so enjoyable. The hardest part of the job was random negative feedback with no real advice on how to improve in a particular monitoring review. However, it was well-balanced with my supervisor, and discussions as to how to improve in my work.
ProsA night off when I needed it due to an emergency

Balancing Employee, Customer and Shareholder most the time!
Intuit is a multi-faceted company with many opportunities for almost anyone who dives into the company, products and culture. You will work your back-end off, but you will be paid for it. You will learn more about customer experience than you ever expected, and you will be richer for it. You will be part of completely obsessed and driven teams, but you will learn so much. No company is perfect, but if you are going to work for someone else, Intuit is by far one of the best places to work. Some of the highest quality people work here with incredible values, ethics, and integrity. The product teams are continuously striving to build higher quality, more flexible solutions for small business, consumers, and their partners.

Great Company to work for and grow with.
Intuit is a fortune 500 company to work for, good pay and great benefits. Within the 15 years of service, I learned about the business from end to end. What happens with customer's payroll, to finances and payroll tax payments and filings. Workplace culture is worklife balance. I love all my positions held with Intuit. The hardest part I would say was leaving.
ProsGreat benefits and positive work environment.

Intimidating environment full of super-great people
Intimidating to be working in a giant room full of rows upon rows of desks right next to each other - with no phones or privacy, but the people there work really hard, and are all super-friendly and really knowledgeable.
Many contract and term staff.
Free snacks and discounted cafe such a great bonus.
