Typical Day at Ingram Micro
In general, a typical day at Ingram Micro is basically learn at your expense.They don't offer too much of training. You usually discover the objective of the job, by learning on your own. Overall, the work is not as hard to learn, but the work does not compensate for the pay that is given.

Great Company
While working remote they encouraged frequent face to face meetings. I was able to get hands on experience in material handling which allowed me to create better software solutions for my co-workers.

It was ok
It was ok. I like my shifts and meeting different walks of people there. Some managers was ok and some wasn't. I liked the dress code. The only thing was the check point no jewelry are any kind going thru the check point.

Great People
Wonderful place to work, little disorganized when I was there. Constant turnover not sure about now it has been a few years since I worked there. Good place to start.

This was a great experience being my first job out of college. Leadership team took time to train and develop associates. Great promotions for sales reps.

Even though we were working a lot , the compensation (weekly pays) was insignificant. They was no change in my pay from day one to the end of the assignment. Also the policy of “metal free” was really annoying. The dressing code “zero metal on us” was really annoying as I said.

Not my jam
Great owner at Cloud Blue. So willing to make sure I was getting rewarding work. Had to move to another state for my wife's job promotion and the management was more than willing to keep me as long as they could even though I lived in a different state but because of my job title I had to resign from my position, which is crazy and being a tech company would not let me work remotely even though all the vendors were in different States. Made no sense to me but whatever. Ivory Tower decisions never make any sense to me. They have no idea about the real world and that we can do the same job from home

Heavy workload but I enjoyed my fellow employees
I really enjoyed working at Ingram Micro. The environment was fast paced but it was my favorite job. My box was the Chief Technology Officer and he was responsible for over 2,000 employees. There was never a dull moment with this job.

Almost no work life balance
Not recommended at all. Unhealthy working environment but there’s pros as well. Mother room is provided but the amount of stress and pressure from colleagues and management is enough to give you burnout.
