Low pay for high stress
Friendly enough people and probably a decent start to telecoms and work at home, but their fundraising and itr division requires WAY too much for WAY too little compensation. you can't take notes during training sessions because they time you and it will take way too long, which would be fine if you were only doing one thing but they will have you trained on 10+ programs within the first few months. good luck making bonus after your first month, as they grading structure is nearly impossible.
Prossolid hours, choose from a handful of schedules, 2 days off every week
Conslow compensation, unrealistic expectations, too competitive to make bonuses.

Infocision
I sat at a small desk in front of a computer working with a system that called canidates for charities that we were promoting. It showed a prompted lines, so we knew exactly the idea that we needed to get across to the canidate. While working there I learned how to deal with different personalities considering I talked to 100 or more people a day. I didn't talk to many co-workers, mainly because there was not a chance to do so. The hardest part of the job is being yelled at for doing your job. Alot of times you are calling people who don't really have an interest in talking to you but it is my job to be presistant, which is not my strong suit. My favorite parts of the job is when you get that one person that just brightens your day, very joyful and helpful personalities only got those once a day if I was lucky.
Prosfriendly supervisiors
Consnot reliable work, got yelled at on the phone

My First work at home job….
So the training is 4 weeks, just like anywhere you have nice individuals and not so nice individuals. For the most part I have had a positive experience. They pay should be better and more competitive but that’s life it’s not always what we want.

InfoCision was a fun fast-paced environment
InfoCision made it a lot of fun to work there because it was always competitions it was always something going on oh, they always had a way to make taking phone calls from customers that may have been upset about something the company has done much better. They're always being a manager right there to assist you when a customer was getting out of control

Loved the freedom of working from home
It was great to be able to work from home. Every work at home employee along with the supervisors and leads were all in a chat room... we were able to ask questions when we needed to, always got a quick response. There were always supervisors on hand to help out whenever needed. The hourly rate wasn't that high but with weekly bonuses and special projects available all the time, the weekly take home pay was great.
ProsThe freedome of being able to work from my home.
ConsHonestly cannot think of any cons.

handled a lot of nonprofit company calls
Worked in Quality Assurance Department kind of fast paced, the employees are friendly, the help desk was sometimes a little hard to to thru to which was probably the hardest part of the job.

Experience
A typical day at Infocision was making outbound calls for NRA campaign. I learned that with tele-marketing you have to have a lot of patience with the customers. The management could have been organized better at Infocision. My co-workers were friendly. The hardest part about the job was staying focused from reading the same thing for 8 hours a day. The most enjoyable was when you would receive a membership after a long day.
Prosflexible schedule
Consreading manuscript over and over

Very Good Place to start entry level work
I learned how to manage and supervise employees, the most enjoyable part is interacting with the communicators, the hardest part of the job is discipline for the communicators when they do not follow policies and procedures.

Fun and productive workplace.
A typical day of work, depending upon the position I was in at the time, would vary from receiving or calling on Political, Christian, Consumer Services, Time Warner Cable, Verizon Wireless programs. I learned how to teach others how to become successful sales people, how to handle customers objections and move forward in calls, and that Telemarketing is not for everyone. My co-workers were very pleasant and always made the day fly by. The most enjoyable part of the job was helping individuals reach their full potential and showing them the progress they had made throughout training.
ProsGym, friendly co-workers, benefits.
ConsManagement showing favoritism.
