Hilti is a great place to work. The people are incredibly supportive and management truly cares about their employees. Hilti also really cares about the communities it works in.

Too conservative of a company
They are rated as one of the top companies for whom to work, however, I did not enjoy their highly conservative culture. I also had an extremely limited number of products to sell and we sold almost solely on fear tactics of potential liability for contractors and engineering firms in the event of a fire catastrophe.

Good if your mobile
Love the product. Liked my manager. No way to advance unless you are willing to move out of state. Some regions have highs and lows as far as projects can be a boom or bust.

Great people to work with and the work was interesting.
I worked here for 5 and 1/2 years. The job was interesting and I loved the people I worked with. The company was founded in Liechtenstein, so it was fun working with people from a different country.

Quality training for Account Managers
Regional Managers lack training that Account Managers receive. A typical work day is spent visiting accounts and working on the road. It is a very competitive industry with capped commission, but great benefits.

Es un ambiente tranquilo pero de mucha competencia se busca la excelencia.
Esta empresa me impacto en el sentido de competencia interna, en cualquier área en muchos momentos se puede decir que se convertía en un ambiente hostil, dependiendo de las circunstancias, era un poco estresante, pero esa exigencia te permite mejorar las fallas que puedas tener para el desenvolvimiento de las funciones que ejerces.
Su cultura puedo decir que se basa en optimismo, en la excelencia el compañerismo no mucho, por lo demás segun el criterio de cada quien te puedes adaptar.
