Very dysfunctional
Worked at hello fresh 8 months and was made to work consistently in the freezer. When I medically couldn’t anymore the company lied on many different levels of management to keep me from obtaining a medical exemption. Once the medical exemption was finalized nothing but disrespect and lies were directed my way to either force me into quitting or to confuse or irritate me enough to get fired. Hello fresh and it’s management only cares about themselves and would let your health diminish to nothing before they take it upon themselves to get you medical attention. Just a company that loves to underpay and keep people in the dark on compensation it’s a constant battle with hr. Over all just a very unorganized company with horrible management.

Work life balance is not the best. Long hours. It is an Up and coming company. There are more cons than pros. The turn over rate is high. There is no job security.

Easy place to work at pay is ok if you want to be mediocre in life
I drove a reach truck unloaded trailers and picked pallets production lines needed. Managers in production have no idea what it takes to get them their work. They give me the impression that they think our job is easy but they just can’t imagine so that’s the biggest problem. On top of that they took all the OT away I was a great worker and they’d send me home, guys that were slick and knew how to steal time would do OT all the time and not work it, so that sucked I really loved this company and I would have stayed if they would have let me do as much OT as I wanted.
ProsThey feed you every now and then, company is laid back in warehouse as long as you complete your job
ConsNo communication between departments, every department looks after itself, and it makes things hard during the day.

Poor management
Managers try to sleep with you and if you dnt then know you will have a big problem and probably wont last there. HR is no help because theg believe everything upper management says knowinf the problems that go on there.

the busimess is good they got good food and sometims you can take the food home wit you and he food is fresh like out of the box so when they give you the food all you have to do is cook

Hello people were friendly directions were given where respect and honor people shared and we're a very informative when giving instructions and the process or what they expected so I highly recommend anyone apply hello fresh

Variety in all aspects
Quality of shifts and therefor pay and sales varies widely week to week. Management is good but pay is continuing to decline. Hours and hourly pay has been cut with the expectation of getting more done

Great people!
HelloFresh has been a great way to get your feet wet in outside sales. The position is challenging but in a way that makes you more competitive in your role. The hardest part of this job is the work/life balance. You will be working all weekends and most evenings. I thoroughly enjoyed the people that I worked with.

Even as a mid level manager I was treated with no respect. Direct senior management was never present and provided no support, only unrealistic expectations. This company does not care about its employees, only its customers.

Exciting although sometimes stressful
I worked in door to door sales - this was my very first job in sales and with the zero hour contract there was a lot to learn, fast.
Therefore there were times of financial pressure, but if you were good at sales there is a lot to gain!
