The type of work I am involved in on a daily basis is diverse.. i work with many different nationalities and families of many diverse cultures.
AS A SPECIALIST in Occupational therapy I have the freedom of Clinical Judgement and being in the position to also support and guide others.
I love working in a multicultural environment but it also makes challenges inevitable..such as miscommunication and prejudice. Its all areas that are easily accommodated if the awareness is present.
Families with children from different Ges enter our Centre and that makes the work even more interesting.
ProsExcellent working hours 7 to 3pm with lots of time to spare for allied healthcare professionals, annual leave 45 days plus religious holidays leave for all and overtime paid if you happen to work, flight allowance to your country of origin is one per year, 5 days casual leave per year is separate from annual leave, end of service compensation is equal to one month salary per year, free accommodation for oversees contracts and utilities plus transport allowance.
ConsIt can be difficult to get promoted internally

Nice housing and the complex has everything within walking area,gym,pool....
I really enjoy every day at work, assisted people from different culture made me to live an experience of a lifetime, to be immersed in a totally new culture made me to learn as a professional and as a human being too facing the challenge of keeping in mind the culture of my patients and relatives. At the beginning was really difficult but over the time some of my preconceived ideas were dispelled while others prove true, that inspired me and at the end it was one of the most enjoyable experience abroad.
ProsAmazing training for the corporation..
ConsNothing to say
