Dear Hiring Manager:
I am writing to express my interest in the hair stylist position that is available at Hair U. I have been a licensed hair stylist for 16 years and have learned a great deal about the industry and how to work with clients. I am confident that I can help Hair U continue to grow while providing excellent service along the way.
I previously worked as a hair stylist at Salon D'Artiste where I was able to help numerous people feel better about their appearance. My work experience taught me the importance of listening to my clients' needs and understanding what they want in order to create the best possible style for them. During my time as a hair stylist, I built a large clientele of people who were all very satisfied with the work that I performed. It was because of this success that I was promoted to the position of senior hair stylist. I was then able to specialize in one type of hair cut or style, becoming an expert in that field. By the time I left my job as a hair stylist at Salon D'Artiste, I had become so good at understanding my clients' needs and what kind of style would look best on them that they would often seek me out when they wanted a new style.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my application and for considering me for the position of hair stylist. I have attached my resume for your review. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Emerson Walker
