Opportunity to work in many different areas of the business
My management was interested in my success. I enjoyed being give the opportunity to work outside my job description in order to learn new things.
The only down side is that this business is a cyclical, so there can be large reduction in force layoffs every few years.

Solid company
You can't go wrong working for a company that touts "Creating and Delivering the World's Finest Aviation Experience" and proves it time and again. The job itself is great but I never get tired of the occasional walk through production or maintenance areas as the aircraft are always inspiring.

Good Place toWork
While there, I was never worried about idle time as it appeared that the department was understaffed. Contractors bore a large part of the load as most direct employees worked Monday thru Thursday and maybe a half-day on Friday, no Saturdays.

Great satisfaction in bringing product to market
It was exciting to be a part of the certification flight testing of 2 new aircraft models. However, due to the dependence of the business aircraft market on economic factors, it can be fraught with job insecurity during tough economic times.

Good place to work
the typical day started at 5am and would end at 330pm with breaks and a 40 min lunch. Management took an active interest in employees and their homelife. Management was willing to work with employees when unexpected life events arose.

Gulfstream Aerospace is an amazing company for anyone that is willing to learn and share your professional tenant. Management at every levels are respectful and provides the opportunity for their employees to succeed. I had a great three years run with Gulfstream to share my talent and achieve my goals with the encouragement from superiors. Excellent culture and great talented people at all levels. Gulfstream in savannah is simply an amazing place for anyone that wants to be part of an American Achievement.

Good place to work in the Savannah Area
One of the better places for employment in the Savannah area if you like working for big corporations. Salaries are competitive, and benefits are average for the surrounding area.

Excellent while it lasted
Not a bad company but lay-off is brutal. The people are the best there. Managers or so so. Fun environment with great benefits. The job is not difficult.
