exciting and fast paced
working for greggs is certainly fast paced and exciting, and working for a developing concept enhances this further. on a daily basis i am responsible for people management, achieving sales and cost targets, and future planning to build the success of the business. the hardest part of my job is switching off, i thoroughly enjoy the challenge but this results in constant developing ideas.

Great management and flexibility
Manager is absolutely lovely. Flexible times so I can also balance other parts of my life.
The community is very inclusive and friendly.
Have had times when i am the only one working and the supervisor stays at the back onlt for a certain shop i covered shifts at, but in general supervisors very helpful

Really enjoyed my time in greggs and learn so much, it has partially made me the person I am now as I have met so much amazing lovely people who are down to earth and kind. :)

It’s a good place
Personally I enjoyed it, weekly pay suits some and if you got a decent amount of hours it wasn’t actually that bad so if you’re looking for a decent fast paced part time job or something it’s definitely worth looking in to
You learn a lot of things from day 1 and you get a very decent discount
The management were awesome and I can’t fault them

Fully enjoyed my time at Gregg's. If it wasn't for a move abroad, I wouldn't have left. All of the staff were very welcoming and I liked getting the opportunity to work at different stores in the area also.

it was a ok place to work
when i worked morning shift i prepped food for the and i worked the line .i worked 3 or 4 different stations salad ,clubs,pit and the middle(expo) Management was ok i feel it could have been better ,my co-workers was good..There was really no hard part if there was it would be when it was not busy slow days make long days so i loved when its busy..

I have always love the food at greggs and I was happy when I was able to get a job there though a freind who worked there. I enjoyed my time working at greggs and it gave me a lot of helpful customer service and retail skills. I did foodprep as well as working behind the counter, while I enjoyed my time there the shop I worked at was quite far away from home so it wasnt the easist task to get into work but I felt I found a routine and made sure I was on time. The only problem I encountered was with my assistant managers, there was some instances when both me and the rest of the team was let down by them and I feel not enough was done to rectify the issues. Many times I was left alone to cover the shop. If given the chance I would like to work there again.

Initative and selling skills required
Fast paced, sometimes stressfull at busy times of year. cool head is needed for this. Co- workers were all great to work with although i had approx. 30 members of staff as my store was larger than most.

Gregg's is a fast paced working environment and has taught me various skills including time management and being able to work under pressure. The team members and management team are very friendly.

Culture is simple and all my colleagues were magnificent people who you can get to know easily and are always up for a day out. The managerial system is calm and works in the best ways.

This has got to be the best company I have worked for.
The support I got from my team, my Manager and from my area manager was unbelievable. this is truly a family business.
Hours were long but well worth it for the bonus you got each year

ridiculous hours and not very good pay. managers dont really do much, dont serve or bake. Brakes need to be more organised as somertimes you cant have one if its too busy

Fun workplace.
Love my job here as plenty of pros. Only thing that I don't like is silly shift patterns such as 6pm - 2am and 8pm - 4 am. However the pay and other benefits make up for it.
