Fun place; lots of energy.
It is a good place to work with many different areas that you can work in ranging from lifeguard to house-keeper to caterer. It can be slow to dead in winter though with little hours given. Summer is full-time all the time.
ProsFlexible hours.
ConsSlow in winter/off-season. Maybe 20 hours per week sometimes.

Pay is great, labor is difficult.
During my time working there, I was paid very well compared to other employers and even other departments within the same company. It’s a great job for younger employees, mainly high schoolers, because the pay is competitive and higher than minimum wage. It has its cons too, it’s very physically taxing and the shifts are long. Management is quiet terrible though and don’t provide a friendly environment.
ProsGood pay, lots of hours, discounts, free passes, holiday pay, PTO
ConsPoor management, labor inducing, excess hours/overworking employees, management and work atmosphere

I learned how to Bill customers, engage in conversation to get to the bottom of a situation. Drive a Fork Lift & load trucks for delivery.

Fun place to work
I really enjoyed my experience working at the lodge! I had the most fun working here with some of the most wonderful people to ever walk this Earth. Getting to meet so many families from all walks of life and making their vacation one they will never forget was an amazing perk of the job. If you love helping families enjoy their vacation and getting paid to have fun while doing so, this is definitely the place to work!
I only left after striking out for the 3rd time when applying for positions to advance my career within the lodge.
ProsDiscounts, meeting new people everyday, helping families enjoy their vacations
ConsDifficult to move up and expensive benefits packages

I learn to always go to a job thats family oriented
Job was awesome, was always available to help when needed. No drama as much, always made sure our employees came first due to any situation. Very respectful and understanding.

Ever changing work place
Concord Great Wolf lodge is a great place to work. The problem I ran into is that if you wanted to move up, you have to suck up to the higher ups. Everything is ran by a corporate office that doesn't have a clue on what each lodge needs. T
ProsFree water park passes for family
ConsLong hours, few days off.

Fun work place, but too rough on my body
A typical day would be making pizzas, keeping area spotless, making sure temperatures were appropriate, prep food, help guests. I learned a lot when I worked there. Almost all of my customer service skills, how to help people that speak different languages, how to handle stressful situations, health codes, learned about different chemicals. The list could go on and on. The management was horrible, did not know what they were doing, 4 of my pay checks were less than half of what they were supposed to be. Hardest part was working by 500 degree ovens all day with maybe a half hour break while working 13 hour shifts. The most enjoyable part was the people I had the chance to work with.
Prosfree drinks
Consno breaks, hot area, poor scheduling
