Leadership team is deceitful
I was a pretty successful GM who helped build the location I started at aswell as offering my knowledge and help in other cities. My knowledge in metrics and leadership landed me a shot to be a "Regional Manager". I bent over backwards traveling through Arizona aswell as other cities for 5 months (miles and wear&tear never reimbursed), attending daily meetings via video call sometimes at 5am (because HQ operates on eastern time), training operation and general managers, Working multiple shifts day and night, hitting all my kpis... only to watch 3 other fresh GMs who were less experienced get the official regional position before me. I was told that my official position was getting pushed back because the owners had too little time to conduct interviews and that my time was coming. During this time I had also lost my mother and had to take in 3 siblings including having 2 children of my own. I had to provide for 7 people total including my wife and myself with only 39k (Other GMs were making atleast 40-48k). So Basically I was getting paid like a lower-end GM while acting as an RM, when fellow RMs made a comfortable 65k + Bonuses. This company doesn't play fair and they definitely do not care about their employees. Upper management is a joke. Director of operations has a million times more knowledge and leadership skill than the VP of operations. Most GMs are on a power trip because they landed a decent job in their early 20s without any schooling. Supply has no idea how much
ProsFree expired candy
Conslow pay, lack of proper management, no breaks for operations, no pto, deceitful upper management

great place to work
Job is super laid back some GMs are great to work with and take on ideas and we take on tasks as a group. promises are made but not kept. the only conn i can see with working with this company i would recommend working with this company to someone who is content with just working the basic job as they will focus more on external hires.

As simple as pay
I actually became homeless because gopuff decided not to pay me my full check. More and more people are speaking out against the shadiness of gopuff’s payroll. I worked with many people that were given the opportunity to take sick leave but never actually got paid for it. It’s a shady company that doesn’t care about its workers. Be careful when considering this a job. There is a hostile environment with little to no respect. To this day I am still missing money that I don’t think I’ll ever see.
ConsYou might be missing one of your hard earned paychecks one week because payroll gets, “backed up” or whatever, You could get screamed at, confronted in a rude manner, and be missing money for months on end, It’s a terribly run business, Better to just order from but never work at

It's A Pretty Laid Back Company They will Pay you But As a OA They Should Pay more, You Start as a Temp after 90days you Get to Be Permanent + Benefits It can Fun If you Have People Skills and A Great Leader and A TEAM of Coworkers that Relieve you ON TIME If not you will Begin to HATE The Job Especially if your Overworked Dealing with Trucks of Merchandise Alone DRIVER PARTNERS MAKE THE MOST $$$$$$$ & have Flexibility in Schedules
ProsBenefits, Fast pay, Easy Job/Gig, Laidback
ConsTrucks of Merchandise, Holidays, Low Pay for OA, Poor GM Manager Leadership

Great ideology on theory
The company goals exceed the infrastructure that has been established and although this growth is expected and welcomed. There is an unfair amount of performance required in comparison to the ever changing environment that each store is subjected to. If senior leadership planned better and gave more encouraging guidance this company would skyrocket. However, as long as they continue to treat staff as though they are continually replaceable they will live with the performance that is below the growth level that is needed to achieve a successful service in the financial long term. Prioritization of your employees and your company operations will in turn reap benefits you never perceived possible. Continue to ignore your staff and the future is anybody's guess.!

Questions And Answers about goPuff

If you were in charge, what would you do to make Gopuff a better place to work?
Asked Mar 22, 2019
I’ve worked for different deliveries I’ve worked corporate I’ve owned my own business and I think GoPuff is doing a great job, I love working for GOPUFF and the flexibility is highly weighed in, I feel great no Living on the edge about employment in case for whatever reason address cannot make it to work on the floor and it makes me want to go to workit, It will be great if we got some type of gas reimbursement or incentives for our gas and it would also be great if we were connected with Discount mechanics because of the where in tear on the car
Answered Sep 24, 2021
Make it so drivers can each get two or three shifts per week and be sure they show up when scheduled. Just like a regular job. Hire people who will view it as a regular job that they have to show up when scheduled. Rarely will anyone just quit, but if we’re not able to get a few shifts each week, people will give up and leave.

How flexible are your working hours at Gopuff?
Asked Apr 4, 2020
Not either show up or your fired
Answered Nov 20, 2020
Driver scheduling is dependent upon a shift drop once a week. All shifts are taken within twenty seconds (no exaggeration). The company wants to attract and retain quality drivers, but some drivers like to take a dozen shifts a week and complain often when they don't get those hours. Sometimes they'll give shifts away when they feel lazy, otherwise you're not getting anywhere close to full time hours and at that you really can't choose the time or day.

6-10 deliveries during the shift. Very little interaction with warehouse staff, unless necessary. Don't expect anything from the warehouse manager regarding help/support.
