A company that rewards hard work and skill.
I enjoyed my time at Genesis Healthcare. The company promotes values of diversity and inclusion. The staff is competent and friendly and management responsive to staff and patient needs.

Will throw you under the boss.
Residents and patients that reside Genesis health care are merely dollar signs and not people. The corporation is run by lawyers making every task difficult. They do not care about their employees.

Tempory job while looking
Low pay. Very unorganized. Poor training. Rude management . They pile more and more work on you. Double standards. Will be asked to do unethical things.

There is growth in the company and also help when needed They also work as a team I love working for Genesis and I would love to come back to Genesis

It is all about the money and who does and doesn't like you
Do not get regular pay raises and when you do it is less than 1%. I have not had a pay raise in 5 years.
Micromanagement is constant.
A typical day is work is chaos, lack of communication, cleaning up other staff's mistakes, getting in trouble things you did not do or did not know and stressful.

AaWonderful staff, give excellent care .
Pay rate was too low. Left for more money.Job on TCU Was busy and you could learn alot.
The nursing staff was very caring and did a great job. The rehab dept was excellent. They knew their stuff and gave 100 % effort.
The team was not lazy at all.
I miss the people there.
Lots of education . The Wingate only cared about their decor as they gave pay freezes. Nit sure how it is now. Genesis mission was caring for the client.
Nurses need to be paid more everywhere. All and all great place to work.

Fast paced facility, very quick turn over. Management are very nice and other IDT helps each other. pay and benefits not good. no raise. very well maintain facility

I absolutely loved working for Genesis Healthcare. Management really cared about their employees. Genesis Healthcare also gives lots of room for advancement.

No work/life balance, unsupportive, inefficient
The company is having financial issues and has cut essential staff at the regional and center level to where it is impossible to expect anyone to be successful in their job requirements and responsibilities. Upper management lacks communication skills, management skills and treat employees like robots. No matter how hard you work, 24/7, it's never good enough.

poorly staff
this place was poorly staff too many residents and not enough staff. impossible to perform quality care. admissions did not accept patients that was appropriate acuity for our clinic. unsafe environment to work
