Decent place to work
The only thing I didn't like was call handle time. If a person calls to enroll in a prescription drug plan, that significantly increases a CSR's overall call handle time. You feel like you are in a race to get calls in and out as fast as possible with very little empathy for a customer's situation.

Contract work
Contract can end suddenly leaving you scramble for positions
Sometime position transferred to subcontractor without warning or options.
Overall a good place but can get frustrating sometimes
Prosremote work, good benefits

Is a good company with very limited chances to grow.
To grow in this company you need influential contacts or to be an engineer.
My place of work is clean and friendly, and my pears are great. The only issue is the lack of growing oportunities.
ProsStable and strong company
ConsVery few grow apportunities

Employment Too Brief To Evaluate
Only worked for the company one year. Said they were going to pursue renewal of a contract that most of us hung our professional careers on only to be told "no" they weren't pursuing it, effectively laying of hundreds of investigators at a time when the industry is in a period of constant flux.

Call center
This is a good place to work during their busy season. My manager was very supportive. This would be a good fit for someone that has critical thinking skills.

Good
I enjoy working for Maximus Federal very much .I just hate that there is no real room for growth and pay increase and the hour commute there and again back is getting to be to much .
ProsGood benefits, good management department
ConsTo long of a drive for me at an hour each way, and this contract has no room to growth in pay or position

Fast paced work environment, difficult to progress in your career.
Typical DOD contractor branch office. Fast paced working environment. Upper management doesn’t give much opportunity to entry level employees to gain experience or progress in their career. Good place to start out.

I have worked for GDIR since Aug 2008 and really like the company |

All take a intrest in helping new employees gain their confidence
GDIT is a great company to work for, with great benefits. I like the fact that a large part of their staff are military personnel. They also encourage their people to maintain their knowledge and certifications.
Pay:
1.) With an EVAL of 4 - 5, I believe the pay could have been higher.
2.) The trainers and operation personnel make more money than techs and techs have to pay for their own certifications.(I have 8)

Great place for growth
This was the best company I have ever been employed with. There were lots of opportunities to receive bonuses for attendance and production. Everyone that worked there were reasonably satisfied with the employer. The management team is the only problem. They would provide fake written policies, target employees who questioned or spoke with ethics. They were cheating and giving promotions to friends and family members only in the Bogalusa site.
ProsTons of bonus opportunities, free lunches often, very diverse and inclusive
Consmanagement they will give the promotion to unqualified employees, who where personal friends, and target who report their behavior

Excellent atmosphere
If I still lived in Ottawa I would still be there. One of the top companies in Ottawa to work for. Very respectful environment. Inhouse courses. Bonuses. Excellent wages.
ProsSubsidized cafeteria. Onsite gym and free fitness trainer.

ax free opportunity was a blessing
The work schedule was nice, but at the end of the day, leave without pay is brutal. Pay and tax free opportunity was a blessing. Ability to move around within the company is cool too.
ProsAbility to move around within the company.
Consleave without pay
