Upper management is not very hands on. The leave the day to day duties to middle management. But the level of professionalism and ability in this area is not very strong. The hardest part of the my job as safety director was to get management on board with changes and mandates that needed to be implemented, Anything that took time away from generating sales or shipping product was seen as unnecessary.

They are very careful about who they hire. It's not about your qualifications or how much more you bring to the table than another candidate but what you are like as a person. They inspire you to do a great job because they provide a comfortable environment to work in. Yes there's things that need to be done but, I was encouraged to complete them not because of demanding management but because I didn't want to disappoint anyone. They are so giving, so kind and are so relaxed. Everyone jokes, teases and is there to enjoy work and each other.

Even though it was just for work experience i feel i got a lot of good experience, and i learnt more about what its like to have a job.
I did lots of different jobs helping out when and where ever i could stacking shelves and making the store look presentable. The most enjoyable part was the people there i was able to have a good time and learn a lot of important things.

When hired on I was told I would receive on the job training as well as resources needed to plan major parties/events. But then received nothing in the way of guidance or training, and defiantly had no resources to work with.
started off as a picker then quickly made my way to fill Active/stocker which is filling empty slots. or replenish product in which need's to be picked and after that was done help assist in picking or packing. then moved replenishment driver/order picker and our team was in charge of supply all stock. to the pickers and fill Activator's also assisting in special projects directed by the managers or supervisor. I was able to obtain perfect attendance award twice for being at work one hour prior to scheduled time.the work place was amazing the different culture and new people and different point of view ect also management was always respectful and very friendly and helpful the hardest part about the job honestly I didn't think there was anything hard to me.

I enjoyed my time at Multiplay. A typical day included helping a large number of customers through ticket and live chat interfaces with issues surrounding the operation of their game servers. I learned some new techniques regarding the rapid deployment of game updates to a large number of servers (often 20-30, or more, machines on 5 separate continents). Both management and my co-workers were an absolute blast, and the environment was light-hearted and fun. The hardest part of the job was managing the number of issues that would crop up, as we'd often face several hundred new tickets a day - not including the live support requests - with only two or three people on staff. The most enjoying part of the job was researching new and creative solutions to problems we had never seen, and implementing fast and efficient fixes for them.

this company is a good company reason for leaving because I moved to California. Paid weekly but enough hours because I was hired through a staffing agency. Hours were cut short until your fully hired from company
if you work here it is all a matter of who (personally) likes you and nothing to do with your work performed and/or qualifications. Management leaves something to be desired, not a single person in management has any prior management experience or skills; again these positions have been filled on the "who personally likes you" basis - bad business all together. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for employment.

when I arrived always got welcomed nicely it made you enjoy going to work, I learnt everything I could about gaming and how its changing and all the new products that where being released, we worked as a team and spent a lot of time outside of work together socialising, the hardest part of the job was midnight launches as you had to make sure everyone's products are correctly packed and was normally busy but still really enjoyable,
I enjoyed working there due to the staff I worked with helped the days go faster and spent a lot of time making sure we hit targets all fighting for the top spot.
A typical day at work consisted of: Talking to customers, Helping customers and other members of staff, Explaining the details about a product/products or even console bundle to a customer whome was looking at purchasing said content, Helping customers find their product if they could not find it on the shop floor and suggesting alternative options if we did not have the product in store, Friendly and helpfull attitude and work ethnic.
I learned how to deal with a fast paced work enviroment certainly nearer the time to Christmas when the shop would have had a booming intake of customers, taught me how to really think on my feet and be more approachable in the aspect that it was easier to talk to the customer more like a friend than a stranger and thus caused easier transactions.
Management - Very friendly and helpfull they would always insure that the hours worked were flexible and certainly made sure to inform you of any changes on the shop floor i.e if we were out of a certain stock or if a bundle had been changed for the consoles. Management also made sure to insure you were okay and if you needed any help with anything if you were struggling to provide information to a customer on something you may not actually have any knowledge about if anything had been changed.

I loved working at Game station and Game, it was a great environment and my product knowledge and sales ability gave me one of the best attachment sales ratings and pre-owned stock clearance of all of our districts stores.
However the hours and management left a lot to be desired, many issued stemmed from the merger of the two firms and i have not worked for Game since.
Management can be slow at points at the registers as they have other things to do but they do there work and they finally get there on time each time. As working there as part of my Work Experience I did what they do mostly on a daily basis. It can be quite challenging but you get used to it. They are always great with the customers and they are always polite with the people they work along side with.
Absolutly suburb place to work.
A typical days work consists of cleaning the process room, ensuring the stock is replenished on the shelves, dealing with faultly consoles so that includes testing and reseting them. Another thing is helping customers out with any problem or enquires they might have.
The hardest part of the job is dealing with unhappy customers but that's pretty easy to deal with.
Co-workers were lovely and easy to get along with.

The management is usually unorganised yet always preoccupied.
They have 6 people doing one person's job, poorly.
They're unhelpful, lazy and like to rush through everything.
Apart from management it's a great place to work, loads of different people to work with and a diverse range of customers.
