Overall Reviews at Gallagher

Good place to work. Good people and management is respectful of the employees
I have been at Gallagher for over a year now and can honestly say it is overall a good place to work. Management works well with and respects their reports. The company keeps employees informed and provides training opportunities. They help keep adjuster licenses current. The company expects a lot from their employees but Insurance is a stressful fast paced business no matter where you go. The work life balance could be a bit better especially because working from home often leads to not shutting down at a reasonable hour and working on the weekends frequently to keep up. But overall I am happy.
ProsRemote work, great coworkers, great managers and reasonable pay.
ConsStressful environment, needs more work life balance.

A good work environment
I would say the company could be a lot better if they took better care of the workers. They hardly offered any
compensation for the hard work that the staff and drivers gave. You only was paid perdiem.

I've completed a year of employment an in the restraunt industry if you don't like something you can go work next door. The owners are awesome love working for people that appreciate good workers they are also very hard workers.

Hard Worker
Hardest part of the job is travelling great distances from one job to another as the jobs aren't organised properly. I enjoy working with different types of customers and solving their plumbing issues.
Typical day at work will be leaving home at 6am in the morning arriving at 8am to my first job. Then driving anything up to half an hour between jobs. When all my schedule work is completed then driving home can take anything up to 2 hours to get back home.
Most of skills I brought from my previous jobs, but I am still willing to learn and improve myself.
ProsEnjoy working with diferent people
ConsLong Hours with out being apprecaited

Fun workplace
The days at work would be good, some days I would be in the office and some days I would be out in the van doing viewings. I learned how to be a good employee and how to be determined to work. my co workers were good to me they helped me a lot because I was only doing work experience.
