Cashier/warehouse/stocker/customer service/maintenance
Overall a good quality work environment. Very flexible hours and decent pay. The two major problems were inconsistent hours and bad communication. Sometime I’d work 30 hours a week (which i liked) and the next week I’d work only 10

It was okay.
Definitely not the best place I worked at, not the worst either. Good spot for high schoolers to get some experience. Scheduling was very wish washy, as one week you would get the max hours you signed up for, other weeks you were scheduled over what you were supposed to be working. Hard to ever talk to the HR manager in person.I believe this was due to the turnovers and the amount of call ins, especially for cashiering (many kids came, worked for about a month, then left) Benifits arent that good. But it gets your foot in the door.
ProsPaid breaks, 10% discount
ConsUnderstaffed, Hard to get through to management, Hard to switch positions.

Good Retail company
Overall the experience of working at Fleet Farm is good, compensation is fair, but as the particular store I worked at was going through restructuring, the hours for part time help were sparse, so becoming full time is a better option.

Fleet Farm Menomonie
This is an awful company to work for. They fired me during my two week notice to quit. On top of that I was treated like scum there. I would never recommend working for Menomonie's fleet farm.
ConsBad Management

Okay Company to work for
When company was owned by Mills family; you could tell the owners cared about keeping employees and treating them fair. Now that the company is owned by an investment company all they seem to care about is the dollar and not keeping employees happy or around. There is a lack of communication within the corporate office with different levels of management being told different ways to do the same thing and no one knows which way is correct until weeks later.

Working at Mills Fleet Farm
Typical day at Mills Fleet farm. It is a fast paced work environment. As an FEO I would count all of the money in the safe morning and night. Prepare deposits, count all money in 34 registers, train cashiers etc

Sucks! Sucks! Sucks!
OVER STRESSED AND UNDER PAID! What good is a 10% Team Member Discount when they don't pay wages high enough to use it on?? Just a ploy they use to try to sucker in new employees!
ProsMost co-workers are nice
ConsLow wages and understaffed

Loved it
I did more than just the title I was given, but being flexible and learning fast was very helpful in this position. I loved it.

Decent company, lots of friendly co-workers
Help customers find their purchases in the outdoor yard and back warehouse. Stock merchandise, unload and load semi-trucks by hand or forklift.
ConsShort breaks, if any
