A nice place to work
A great place to work overall, it could be much better if management was a bit more organized and complied with the company policies just as they expect the other employees to do so.

Nice part time gig
Its a decent place to work as a part time job. Fair pay and nice atmosphere. I work out of the Schaumburg depot and so far I've had a good experience. Good job for retired people although getting your CDL takes a little effort

Good hourly wage but but you can lose route any time
Good job! It is what you make it. Stay under the radar and get your job done. Conflicts are imminent, but you must stay focused. People/kids will constantly test you
ProsLunch break 3-4 hrs. Hourly wage
ConsTraffic, kids, and people

Great if you have kid's, get all the holidays off and weekends.
Transporting kids from preschool to high-school ages. Great benefits and awesome coworkers. Swing shift hours can be hard to get used to. Management comes in and out a lot! Can't keep a GM due to, not knowing about busing. The union is really strong and pay is highest in highest in the nation $34plus.
ProsBenefits and pay
ConsEarly morning hours, parking personal cars sucks

Benefits could be a little cheaper
This is a great job w flexible hours, great for parents and grandparents. Excellent for college kids. Work is available if your willing to do it. Seasonal work. Your off in the summer. You serve the community daily by transporting great kids to and from school and to activities like sports, musicals,. I have been all over to Washington, California, Oregon. Check it out. Everyone should be a bus driver

Cut-throat management
The branch manager was a back-stabber. The kids need attitude adjustments. Drivers do not get assistance from schools, parents, or the company. Children have no respect for authority even when it's for their own safety. Parents need to stop being afraid of their children and stop trying to be their friend, but they need to parent and teach their children respect and responsibilities.

provided additional training for staff and employees
fast past daily routine at work, learned a lot about the transportation field. Diverse group of employees at workplace. The hardest part of the job is making it on time due to heavy traffic. The most enjoyable part of the job is some of the great memories we created at the terminal during the holidays.
Prosjob advancement, certification training

Decent pay horrible hours
Decent pay horrible hoursIf you love kids this job is for you. The starting pay is great the top pay could be much better. If you don’t mind dedicating 11 hours of your day and getting paid for six or seven then this job is for you
ProsWork available year-round

I drove bus for special needs kids which was stressful
All the jobs that I did were stressful and fast-paced that I did to the best of my ability. Most people only drove the bus and never applied for job postings I applied for all postings and received the jobs.

Love it. Never tied down to a desk. Free to have fun with kids. Safety meetings are light and fun. Training provided. Great addition to CPP or ODSP. Flexible
