This company gave me 'Work Place PTSD'
Worst job experience I have ever had due to numerous reasons.
Corporate expectations of job duties are unrealistic and unattainable.
Corporate does not care about you on a personal level. You are merely employed as a slave; you are not recognized or appreciated; you practically live at the store.

Understaffing of employees but unable to work available employees with OT hrs
I loved working for Family Dollar and miss it so much. Great place to work!!!! I was heartbroken when my district manager terminated my employment due to theystated that i had improper use of company Policies and Procedures but only were done incorrectly due to severe understaffing and perform return to customer no in the correct order or form due to issues at that time in hand and also working and also Closing alone daily for weeks to two months due to understaffing

Good place to work however most jobs moving
Great place to work however; they have combined jobs with Dollar Tree Corp office. The pay was good. Work life balance was very good. Work from was allowed if it was needed by the employee.

It was work honestly I Liked it!
id worked before so working in a environment with fast paced and different ethnicity wasn't a hassle for me, the employees were very open as well as stringent towards our task at hand. Very great environment as well.

Corp sucks
The only good thing was my store manager, she always worked everyday all day. The only reason I made $10.50hr. I was hired my a manager going into retirement. I am pretty sure if u are hired on now it's around $9hr.

Bad work environment
Once company was sold to competitor everything went down hill I fully expect the distribution to be closed down in the near future before them the company was awesome to work for

Fast Pace
with the position as a theft prevention manager at my store i had the responsibilities of maintaining the quality of the front end of the store while also stopping about 5 walk out thefts a day. The neighborhood was high volume so I had to take notice of everything.

Do not work for Family Dollar! It is modern time SLAVERY
They expect you to run entire store while they sit in the office. I had to run register, stock shelves, clean store, and be security all for minimum wage.
