some days were good
no work life balance, the culture was not conducive to women, some of senior leadership were kind, just not enough to make you stick around. The compensation was really good.

Very poor work/life balance
Leadership does not value its people and sets unrealistic and often competing expectations and priorities. Excessive abuse of personal time to schedule off hour and weekend meetings with no regard for impact it has on families.

Fun Place to work
Really enjoyed the experience. Management went out of there way to shake things up for the associates so that it wasn't the same thing everyday. Management was also easy to talk to about issues with the systems, or other colleagues.

Being an Indian based company, I learned a lot of interesting things about their culture
A typical day at EXL was coming in to your cubicle, logging into your phone and taking phone calls. I learned a lot about Indian culture. Management was great, very helpful. Our workplace culture was fun at times. we would organize potlucks, bowling trips etc....The hardest part of the job was the under staffing. There were not enough CSR's to handle our call volume, The most enjoyable part of the job was the fun things we would do together as a team ( contests etc...)

Hardest Part of the Job
No transportation provided at the beginning and recruiters had to travel on their own to different vendors accross delhi/NCR and even at night their were no cabs.
