Best Place for Personal Trainers
If you want a career in personal training and group exercise then Equinox is the best place to work. Still it is a horrible work place compared to most jobs in America, but it is the best place to work of the large gym chains, only because other gyms like Life Time, Crunch, New York Sports Club, etc are so bad. In general the fitness industry is the worst of America in terms of all the things we value in the workplace. So, until you become a well known instructor and can work for yourself, Equinox is as good as it gets.

It is all about making money for the company
Money oriented. They really do not care about employees. They are always pushing the managers to make more and more money which is difficult because you only have one employees.

It’s cubic zirconia masking as a diamond
Management thinks they should receive a Grammy but deserves a razzy. They pretend to really care but when something hits the fan,,, and it does often dealing with very type A personalities in Bethesda, they will never have your back. You are considered expendable in a WOKE environment.

Terrible place to work management is a joke must work overtime every day people are rude very noisy place to work customers can hear all the talking and noise while trying to conduct business

typical was confusing and poorly manage, The work place was very diverse and seperated. It was very hard to learn or do your job when they had people doing thing out of their scope of employment

poor training, invest on products that where to costly. met with great people and very energetic.

Making sure the right ID number of product being worked on is being done.
Sewing the right amount with precision and speed.

Fast moving environment, lots of moving goods around.
Quite a good employer with a variety of tasks each day to complete both in the sores office and on the warehouse floor. I was always kept busy and I found the other staff to be friendly and helpful.

Very difficult company to work for with too many inconsistent standards/procedures
As Discipline Department Manager reporting to the Engineering Director, inherited a very difficult, confusing environment. Position turnover was constant, one every six months. Far too much lack of consistent company structure changing continuously without collective rationale. This confusion was left to the department managers to unhinge, without support from the upper management and the shareholders who often are the perpetrators of the confusion themselves. I brought stability to the role, surviving as the longest serving department manager.
