Worst place to work
Schedules are changed every month and depends on flights insurance is as much as my pay check, work 3-4 days a week so impossible to have another job. You can fly for free but can’t afford to stay anywhere because you don’t make enough to go anywhere
ProsFree flights
ConsGarbage pay, standby flights, no set schedule

The company is fine to work for. The people are nice. The opportunities to travel and enjoy the world are like American Airlines. The hours are flexible. The conditions at the company, under the wing, are in the conditions, expected.

Great place to work with great benefits
I went from cross-trained station agent to running daily operations for USAirways. It was a great job and one of my favorite things I've ever done. Because of this position, i had the chance to travel around the world on a shoe string... in First Class!
ProsFree flight benefits, good health insurance, great discounts on goods and services
ConsManagment always changing, incompetent people

Fun place to work, but the pay is not good for the work required of you day to day. Management is not supportive.
Fun place to work, but the pay is not good for the work required of you day to day. Management is not supportive. Overall the benefits are great. The medical, dental and vision cost is reasonable. The workplace culture is good. The most enjoyable part of the job is dealing with the different culture of passengers and problem solving.

not enough pay
no raises. no room for advancement. I do not wish to take this survey, as the company is not a good company or a company that people stay at for a long period of time

Fun workplace with flight benefits..
It is a great place to work. Interacting with passengers, can be a good thing, but can also be a bad thing. You could be at the airport all day and never leave. You only get paid when you are on the aircraft and the door is closed.
ProsFlight Benefits, and your days off..
ConsWeather can be a big Con in this career.

Terrible
No positivity from management. Very negative for mind, body, and soul. Physically exhausting. Never see managers, no meetings or emails to update progress at your station or your development. Negative place to work.
ProsTravel and time off
ConsLow pay, stressful, negative environment

Questions And Answers about Envoy Air

If you were in charge, what would you do to make Envoy Air a better place to work?
Asked Sep 26, 2016
Up the requirements and the pay to work for an airline. It kinda scary knowing that the people preparing a multimillion dollar aircraft with 60+ lives on it for takeoff only require a GED and are getting paid minimum wage…
Answered Jun 23, 2021
With a smile ask the customer there preference if its not stated on their booking
Answered Jun 11, 2021

What is the interview process like at Envoy Air?
Asked Jul 21, 2016
It was very unorganized and I seemed to be just a number. They schedule everyone to congregate in big room and go over the rules and regulations. They took forever to give me feedback on when my start date would be. It was very frustrating to say the least. HR is terrible here! So out of touch with their new hires. I felt pretty disrespected while I was here.
Answered Jul 21, 2021
It was great. Everyone was super nice! Once everyone has been called into do their 1on1s, then we all wait in a room to be called out. No one knows who got it, except the actual (clears throat) ppl who got it. Just remember you have to strongly have a passion for this type of career. Speaking of career, has to be a “career choice”, and not a “job choice”. Have to look the part as well, have to smile and wear the red lipstick.....and always remember that safety is number 1, because it is.
