Good company to work for.
I enjoyed working for DTE. The Union Represented benefits were very good and most of my fellow employees were great. Management at most levels leaves a bit to be desired as with most large companies.

People are great there
The people is really what made this place a great place to work. Not happy with some of the management in IT. I learned a lot during the years I worked there. I didn't like that you can't work from home too often.

I truly enjoyed my work experience at DTE. I wish I could have worked longer than the 6 months. DTE is a Very professional and personable workplace

Excellent company to work for.
I really enjoyed working with DTE but I was a contract employee on a specific project. Every morning started with a safety meeting and how to proceed safely with the work being done that day. I learned in a building project of this magnitude to expect the unexpected. The most difficult part of the job was some of the electrical contractors would take short cuts and their job would be stopped. The most enjoyable part of the job was after a couple of weeks the understanding and respect from the contractors was developed and the job proceeded smoothly with no injuries or accidents.

DTE's commitment to the community is often overlooked and what makes it a special place. For the most part, the employees make their jobs personal, and truly care, especially in the customer service area.

Great Company!
The people here are great/ They are very nice and educated. I am a student co-op here during the pandemic. Hopefully, they will be hiring co-ops again soon enough.

I worked for a 3rd party not DTE corporate.
The 3rd party company I worked for did some of DTE call center work. I believe it would have been better to work directly for DTE Energy. This job has been the most stressful job at a call center I have every worked.

However, the rules that are processed need to be for all of it's employees.

My company makes a difference in so many people lives
DTE is an awesome company. I am not an engineer so there are positions I would love to work in but I don’t have the skills. This company by far is one of the best companies to work at
