great job for the self motivated
I often felt that I would be successful in spite of management, not because of management. the scheduling is not stable. a rep can go from 36 hours a week to 3 hours per week and vice versa.
Prosflexible scheduling

I enjoyed working for this company very much.
My time with driveline was great. I enjoyed this company very much. There wass never a day that work was the same. Got to do some traveling and meet new people.

Management and drive time comp
The district management either has too many tasks or is uneducated as to what their duties are. While working for this company I never met anyone from management. The drive time was terrible and millage is not paid. This job would have been great is it was worth the pay.

Good company to work for
Worked independently doing solo resets in discount stores, learned to problem solve and I enjoyed working alone where I could go at my pace (fast) and not worry about anyone else. Hardest part of the job was not being able to reach someone when there was an issue I couldn't resolve. Also working in some stores where the manager/asst manager had power trip issues and would mislead/misguide on resets.
ProsWorking independently
Consstore employees on power trips

Absolutely no work/life balance
This job consumes your life. The demands cannot be met by one person simply working a normal, daytime, Monday-Friday schedule. And the people who work under you are expected to treat their positions like full-time jobs even though it's part time and they get no benefits and their pay is terrible...so they often quit, leaving you with even more work and stress. It's literally not worth it.

It is something to do.
Don't get me wrong, Driveline was there when I needed. It kept me working and traveling all over, but I had to fight for almost everything I got. The work day can go long or almost nothing. There are flexible days, but then very very stresseful ones. The management is basic a field worker like you, and communication could be a whole lot better. Though you may finish an in-store job; you then must spend extended non-paid time reporting it. Some reports last longer than the job itself!
ProsFlexible
ConsTreated like slaves at times

It's an ok job but not enough work.
Just making sure the job is consistent with production, sales, and hours. Ask questions about future assignments is a plus and get to know the other managers in other locations.
ProsGreat hours
ConsNot enough hours

Fun place to work. You choose your own hours. Can't be affraid of hard word.
You have to be very independent you work by yourself. Great company to work for. You travel to different stores daily. You really have to be a people person because you work very close with the public.. Overall Driveline is a great place to work.
ProsFlex hours
ConsLot's of driving.

Good and Bad
The job itself is fairly easy and a flexible schedule. In order for your to advance the person in the senior position has to leave. There really isn't anything to move up to it seems. I left the company when I found out that new hires and coworkers in the crew I was supervising made more money than me. It was obvious I was not valued by the company. They had no problem giving me more work for less pay.

Only one person did her job the rest it was the "walmart" runaround.
It's no wonder they can't hold onto people/employees especially merchandisers in the field and in district 140 especially. Only one person the district 540 manager did her job and bent over backwards for we in 140 and went to bat for us. The rest of them especially in the HQ did nothing but lie, give me the runaround and fail to train me. I pray Nielsen Data collections pulls their contract with DriveLine and gives it to a more reputable company like Advantage aka ASM for example. You do not treat new hires like this Drive Line at all.
